my daughter aged 4.5 is now studying in KV (K. 2).
as a parent, I feel the pressure of this kindergarten...
when she was in K.1, she always said she didn't want to go to school...probably because of the good discipline of KV (my girl is not that kind of sit-still kid)

my son is now 3 yrs old and he studies at SC. I think the teachers are kind and helpful and at the moment, I don't feel any pressure.

no pressure in K1, happy school life. K2 also OK. but K3................many homeworks and test (nearly every week). but my kid loves to go to school everyday....and he really enjoys the school life.

I prefer SC than KV and KM. Happy school life is very important to the kids.

1. KM ( have the advantages of both KV & SC with good PTH)
2. SC (Eng/PTH class only)

Depends on what parents' expectation.  This is what I heard from others' comments.

1. SC
Happy and relaxing school life. Kind of progressive teaching method.  K1 - easy K2 - some tests and K3 - more works to do.  Of course school want K3 students to have more qualification in some of the P1 entry exams. I think every parent want this, right?

2. KM
Heard that the teaching method is a mixture of SC and KV.

3. KV
Traditional school.  The school has the testing in Nov for K1 already. If you want your kid to experience HK traditional education culture earlier, this school may be your conderation.
