就讀柴灣角天主教上午校, 請問有人可否給予意見揀邊間學校會比較好, 當然想揀英中, 但睇過咁多留言發現荃灣區要頭十名先會有機會, 可否給予意見呢?

若唔揀英中, 邊揀中中會好d呢?

Band 2尾根本就唔駛諗揀英中啦, 希望可以入到Band 2頭至中既中學, 咁樣仲有機會, 你可以揀既band 2中學有好幾間.

荃灣區 - 梁省德/廖寶珊
葵青區 - 吳祥川/李賢堯/顧超文/梁植偉/蘇浙/石天/荔天/皇仁舊生會/燕京

燕京雖然無上面幾間成績突出, 但係成績正進步中, 校風都唔差.

雖然有咁多間band 2比你揀, 但係唔可以全部排隊咁揀晒, 咁就好危險架, 萬一入唔到頭三志願, 就真係派得好後架啦.

自行 - 可以揀最好兩間band 2中學.
統一(甲) - 亦可以同自行揀法一樣.
統一(乙) - 如果第一二志願只可以揀2間band 2中中, 第三志願就要揀band 2尾band 3頭, 唔係就入到頭三志願機會就細左, 老師亦唔會建議全部揀晒band 2中學.

According to my knowldege, 林百欣and葵涌蘇浙公學are Band 3.  No matter whether you are Band 2 頭or尾, a Band 2 student can get a place before a Band 3 student.  Therefore, I suggest you count all the places of Band 2 schools plus 心儀的(可選的)Band 3, if the total no is more than the Band 2 student of Tsuen Wan, you can choose all Band 2 first, then the 心儀的(可選的)Band 3.

The total no. of the school places of each school from the 選校表, which will be delivered to parents in around March/April 09, divided by 3.  From the選校表, you can know the no. of places of each school, then you add those places of each shool you consider as Band 2 (you can consult other parents, teacher or topic in Babykindgom to see which schools are Band 2).
I would like to supplement that Band 2 students should aware that some Band 2 schools in Tsuen Wan will also get Band 1 students because there is not enough places of Band 1 school to accommodate all Band 1 students in Tsuen Wan.  
If there are 900 P.6 students to participate in Central Allocation in Tsuen Wan, then each group for each Band is 300.  The worst priority no. of a Band 2 student  is 600 because Band 1 students will be allocated first.  Parents may add those places of the preferred schools up to 600 to see the worst place you will be allocated.
