My son's questions are similar but he was asked to compare hairy melon with water melon.

Questions to parents:

1. Why do you choose DBS?
2. How to train your son to be responsible?

家長問題：為何選此校？
阿仔問題有三：
1）講出青瓜和西瓜的共通點和不同之處。
2）看一幅圖，然後把圖砌出來。阿仔話幅圖似一條龍？
3）播故事，然後覆述，故事關於小兔拿蘋果見病了的羊伯伯，沿途遇上狐狸，狐狸用神奇藥水交換小兔的蘋果，故事還有鴨媽媽和小狗等。

家長得一分鐘，好嚴，可能對我們沒興趣？
仔仔約8分鐘就出來，真係希望如 我有一個爸 所講，時間短未必唔得，好擔心！

時間長短真的不是太大問題，基本大部份都是十分鐘內完成。
仲有，家長個一分鐘真的不大重要，當年自己病了，都只是打了個招呼後，個分鐘都冇講過嘢，只是我太太一個人講，結果--------accept

May I ask for the above 3 candidates, was each one only test by two items only? The story must be asked to repeat and then follow by EITHER comparison OR 砌嘢?

I know some candidates were asked by 3 items, i.e. repeat story, comparison two things and 砌嘢. But some only asked 2 items. Were the candidates being asked by 3 items got more chance?

另多一題問小朋友有咩優點?

小朋友問題係
(1)火車同纜車相同及不同之處
（個仔肯定係問火車唔係港鐵）
(2) 看圖後憑記憶砌返出黎
（估計係七巧板）
(3)聽錄音故事然後複述一次

我的也是差不多, 難道今年的所有形式都是一樣, 只是問題及故事內容不一樣.

其實都有好處, 可以用一致性的問題考小朋友, 避免做成有d淺, 有d深的情況

I think DBS is looking for character and potential of a kid rather than how much they already learnt?

Any parent shares the same feeling?

I think they will look for a kid with good expression and reaction rather than right or wrong answer.

By the way, which item you all feel the most difficult for the children during the interview?  For me, I think Comparsion.

Luckily that grandfather took my son to peak by cable car in early nov, and He knows the train between hunghom and law wu was called火車!

I thought the part of 'listen and repeat' story also not easy coz the kid has to face 3 adults, listen a story without books or pictures! There were quite a lot characters in the story...公雞，雞媽媽，貓姐姐，狗哥哥and小兔子!

What is hairy melon? Even adult may not be able to answer!
Comparison type questions are simple and open-ended. Smart and outspoken kids can tell many points to show their analytical ability and even creativity (if the kid show imagination even he doesn't really know the item!).
So hard for my son, he is not outspoken!!
