有沒有人係備取生？

Hi, hyalau,

Congralutions!

How do you know you are in the waiting list?  I didn't find the waiting list of St. Jo (Wanchai) in their website. Is it only posted outside the school?  Or did not disclose?

Congratulations ! Are you the only one got 15 points can be admitted to SJ ? Which kinder do your son study ? Did you attached any profile when you submitted the application at first round ?

Thanks for all of you.  And I think we are really very lucky.

We got the phone call yesterday around 5pm.  They said our son can be register today at 2pm.  
And so today at 2 pm sharp we go to register.  There are already 3 - 4 parents come for registration and I  have to queue up.  And I saw the name list which is just a hand written paper on an A4 size sheet, which I suppose this is the waiting list.  The list has around 10 - 15 boys' name on it.  

My son is not studying in st. jo kinder, and only 15 points (first son, no relation, no religion).  

We don't submit any profile.  I think st jo cannot attach any profile, can it?

收唔到通知.... ......今朝都打多個電話去學校問多次....今次真係死心囉...跟住要煩1月份表..都唔知點排次序好...      ....so sad....

「自行」唔得係要等大抽獎。

但係有部分「自行」收左的學生會唔去註冊，原因是其他較好的直資或私校收左佢，於是「自行收生」果間校就會有位剩。

學校自然希望自行收生時盡量收足學生，所以我認為每間學校都有備取生(就算佢唔公佈，自己內部都有張備取生list)。

15分有冇機會就要睇邊間學校.....

想問一個相關問題：

有些直資學校(如DBSPD)佢地會響12月先公佈收生，如果在「自行」註左冊的學生又被這些直資學校取錄了，是不是可以放棄原來的「自行」學位，而轉投直資校？

若可以，即是「自行收生」的學校又有學位剩？可以再收備取生？
咁即係話備取生於11月24日未收到取錄通知仍然有希望？是不是？

未必架....每間學校處理方法都唔同. 如果12月先知有位剩 (留左位既學生轉投直資學校), 咁剩番既位有機會撥番落中央派位架.

I've heard that at noon today, the number of pupils registered at SPC is about 75.  Don't know how many turned up when registration closed at 12:30.
