Never too late...My parents are illiterate.  They don't even know how to write their names...in the good old days, we did not have a library in school or around my place.  I spent a lot of effort to learn, I will suggest to study dictionary.  This is how I studied English in the past.

Agreed.  I don't support the idea of copying the homework from others under any circumstances.  I would rather be honest than doing something against one's heart no matter if you are a little kid or even an adult at work.

I will do it in parallel, the ration will be more on reading then small portion on exercise, just to let the kid get used on how the exam question look like
