Hi sistar,

if not 1st kid, where is your eldest son/daughter studying now? If that is a good school, why don't u chose the same one, the school must accept your young daughter by sibling policy.

However, if the gender is different and school is a boy or girl school, so it's really a problem to you. As only 10 marks, must wait until 2nd round lucky draw, or apply private or 直資 la.

Same case like you, I still try the lucky draw for my 2nd daughter. Don't worry.
Lucky draw is luck.
My 1st daughter may be in private school.

但如果陳守仁得就要放棄大抽獎,但真的好鍾意ST. MARY.,佢又冇叩門位. 定係先JOIN大抽獎，唔得再唸，但又好似好冒險。

If I were you, I still take the examination at DSS school (50%) and lucky draw (10%).
Nobody know the result!
If DSS is on waiting list, so you may wait until the result in June, then you "knock door".

The point is if those applicant have their sister is studying now in the school and not sucessful on the 1st round, they will take some seats from the lucky draw seats.
So that means not 70 seats left of 140 seats. May be only 55 seats. That's why it's so hard in those schools with long history.
