It happened two years ago that my colleague's son was invited by DBS principal (Secondary School) to study in DBS, simply becos the boy was the champion of the inter-school swimming competition. The kid originally studied in 鄧境波 and with only mediocre academic results. My colleague has never thought of submitting and of his son's profile to such famous school but somehow the seat comes FOC (free of charge). This happened the same in LSPS.

So, do your kids have 特異功能 ?

My son has the 特異功能 of watching TV from day till night during summer holidays, except for the time that I push him for homework. So, I'm expecting one day TVB will call me and invite my son to replace 陳志雲.

My sons are good at 自由搏嘴 - worse than yours as they can't be approached by TVB!

我妹夫個細佬早年都係運動上比佢哋睇中，但佢最終決定入沙官，一則沙田係佢自己地頭，二則沙官都唔錯 (我妹夫話)，而佢細佬成績都有中上，得閒又參吓賽，真係升中樂悠悠。如果入咗名校，成績就未知，但就好易比人當電兔，而且要比返 d 運動成績人哋睇，畢竟人哋唔收返哂自己 d 學生，而留個位比你喎，你憑咩先!

特異功能的問題好抽象，甲之熊掌，乙之砒霜，不如放 d 細路出油尖旺，睇吓會唔會碰啱機會捉到賊，拉到打荷苞，到時上到頭條攞個好市民奬，希望可以藉此 sell 比 d 校長，....... 不過心肝 ting 萬一比人打親咁點算 ???????

Not only DBS & LS, it was happened in YW and some so-called famous secondary school too!! 嗰D"特異工能"學生有市場價值, 間間名校都搶住收啦!

This is one of the ways to keep themselves famous at all times. It temps outsiders to think the school itself makes the students so smart, no matter in academic , sports or music, ...
