I face the same question - local vs international K1. My girl got ESF and a local straight through girls dragon school offer. There are pros and cons for each system but at the end we are likely to take ESF because even at PN i think local school has too much homework. Too difficult for working mum.
I think it all comes down to what suits the kid and the family. For working parents time with kid is already limited... Depends on family preferences on how/where to spend the time. I think pressure is neither good or bad .. Just something we need to all live with.
