明白到LA is brand new school, 到今年只有2年,未有認可嘅成績/就;請分享吓你們對學校嘅成長、發展so far滿意嗎?達到你們嘅expectation嗎?小朋友擁有開心嘅學習環境..同時加强自學、表達、自主能力!!!????
學校嘅硬件(campus, facilities)和軟件(teachers, training methods...)配合到嗎?有哪方面有待改進呢?

Yes...agree with you! Actually my hb, my kid n I 都共識咗會讀LA.especially my hb.只是being a mother,心情有時會有點疑慮....就好似你們之前爲小朋友選擇決定後,總想知多啲了解多啲.

december2011 and other LA parents, thanks for all your sharing.. which so 中肯and有用!I do step back and overview the whole circumstance, clearly analyze ....
By the way, I did go to EK of 維記 (the one auth. by IBO n has been formed PYP, MYP, DP for many years) also, did surprise me on the comments. It seems that got some queries:
1. if 小學生not suitable for IB, cox they're too green that 未有基礎知識及心智去配合??
2. or just HK educational system 長遠以嚟引發嘅結果:學習程度and 要求愈來愈深....;who setting the guide line / standard requirement that stated P1 must know "xxx" P2 must achieve "yyy"? otherwise, is fail or out of standard (我以前嘅K3 or P1邊識咁多? and I used to study in oversea for few years that I did enjoy the way of IB studying)
講到底..真係要考慮清楚...選擇一間合適而又配合小朋友嘅性格、成長and ability嘅學校.cox小學楷段真係好重要(小朋友好似海棉咁,吸收快and多)...培養到enjoy studying 和認知一定嘅品行+責任,到佢上中學時都少啲擔心.再者,小朋友相處之間群性影响亦不可忽視,so must be monitor and act on both side (family and school).

其實我想攪清楚...IB嘅學習理論同過程係好好gar,但以家好似產生咗好多矛盾and疑慮, 咁究竟係小朋友太細未配合到;or社會嘅"比較"觀念已根深蒂故and govt educational system,令家長接受唔到"慢"進度+少咗硬體知識學習!!!
就如LA parent 講...要小心衡量係唔係接受呢種module,模式方向,因會是未來12yrs事(教育係長遠,而IB課程亦要連貫,入得LA當然唔會想中途出返嚟),況且要出都唔係咁易,小朋友會好辛苦.
