Anyone know is Choi Kai Yau going to join the IBO?

The headmistress stated in the open day that the school is going to join the International Baccalaureate Organization.  Is that really true??
If so, which programme, the middle years' or the diploma, are they planning to join?

但想問點解個IB網上已包括 最新個間維記滬江，但d已有好多年歷史的真道，港大同，臻美 都仲未係包括內呢 ？

佢地其實係未唔用IB 呢 ？

According to the principal, CKY will adopt IBD which will implement at the end of secondary school. There's plenty of time counted from now since they are just running P5. For those DSS having secondary school, it may be a problem since soon the sec. student will graduate and let's see how they "explain" (may be they say let's internal evaluate the student first before we make the decision to enter IB or not).

For 維記滬江, it adopt PYP and MYP also, so they already get through the audit and entered the IB web list.

That means those schools haven't gone through the process of audition.  Some, I believe, are just thinking / talking about it and have not even got any intention to develop it for their schools.  

Look at 啟新, you can see how dedicated they are in developing IB for its school.

interested parent could visit cky website and there is some info about their plan to adopt IB & IGCSE.

What if CKY fail to enter IBO?
Then for those students who are not going study overseas, there might be problem seating in the local exam like HKCEE.

I think it is quite unlikely that any school who has solid plan to go for IB would fail to enter IBO.  The concern would be rather they could successfully implement the system to benefit the students the most.

Once they get to IB, the students should use the exam result of IB to apply for overseas or local Universities.   

Also, there would not be any HKCEE after the 334 reform.
