基本上, 第一去唔到, 打落去二,三,四,都唔使方去到, 一排就排到東莞......, 東華三院......,某某官立學校....
所以第一志願係好緊要

whether it's enjoyable or very harsh, depends very much on the character of the child.  School arranges a lot of activities.  If the kid is outgoing, he/she sure likes the school very much.  To my child, the homework level is quite easy to handle.  My child could finish within 1/2 hour during P1 - 3 and a bit more than an hour sometimes during P4.   No test starting last year, only assessments.  I personally like assessments better than tests.

May I know what kind of coat to wear in air-cond classroom in summer ?  The blue woolen long sleeves coat or vest bought from uniform company?  It seems too thick.  Can they wear other thin knitting coat ?

Blue is OK, no matter thick or thin, whatever it is bought from uniform company or not.  The thin kintting coat is best for summer, you can keep it in the classroom.

Thanks for your information.

That means any blue coat bought from anywhere is OK.  But why we need to buy the blue woolen coat & vest with orange band from uniform company in San Po Kong?  Is it not compulsory to wear this coat in winter?

General, no compulsory at all.  But, if any special event or group competition, it is a must.  However, if you told you do not buy it, you can borrow it from the school.

I think, your kid would ask you to buy because a lot of student wearing it, he/she will want same with others.

Yes, but selectively because a group max 50 students for speech festival.
How about Chinese? Will the teachers teach Chinese in Putonghua?
No.

今天小一新生日, 我個女係課室就吹到個身好冷, 但係冬天的長外套或者背心, 真係好厚, 我問過老師學校有冇冷氣外套,老師話係冬天個件,話太子有得賣, 但係我唸冬天果件真係著唔到,或者係出面買件深藍的外套比佢著住先.

My daughter's F/M is a nice teacher. She is very experience at taking care of J.1 students. I really very appreciate at their major concern- reading to learn. Moreover, the class size is not big - 35 students only. Teachers can take good care of their students.

I heard, the class size will be smaller than before & will using active approach, not the traditional approach.
