This is partly true but it's too early to get nervous. Maybe your son can cope well in school. However, you have to prepare to spare some time out to assist your son in homework, dictation, projects and ECA.

The environment for P1 and Kinder is quite different but the kid can adapt to the environment very fast. Don't worry too much!!! It is important to train up independance & concentration.

我個仔開頭有時都話好想讀番幼稚園, 佢話只係玩同食喎
不過好彩佢宜家係小學都識到d朋友仔, 番學都鍾意, 只係當我叫佢做功課同溫默書時就唔係幾願.  希望遲d佢再大d, 又再習慣下應該會好d啦

好多升小一既小朋友都有適應既問題, 大家趁宜家有時間, 慢慢俾個仔習慣下, 預備下.  但記得唔好太緊張呀, 如果唔係會好容易神經衰弱架.

我都無認真數過有幾多功課, 有時得4-5樣, 有時多d, 好似通常星期五會多少少(我番屋企數數再話俾大家聽).  如果肯做(即自己乖乖坐定咁做喎), 應該1-2小時都做完, 視乎功課量同埋小朋友問大人既情況.  不過我唔肯定, 因為我個仔只係試過幾次, 可以由頭到尾坐定專心做功課.  最大既問題係好多時d細路都係要大人叫先開始做, 做做下佢地又唔知走開做乜, 或係到發夢, 結果中間浪費左好多時間.

亞仔既英文功課基本上可以自己攪點晒, 因為佢係幼稚園都慣左英文.  其他都暫時ok, 但好多時d中文題目或閱讀理解睇唔明, 或有字唔識寫要問人.

其實暫時既功課我唔覺得好深, 但係亞仔唔鍾意寫字, 所以多或少功課佢都要攪好耐.

may i know how many points do ur child have to get in LS? if my son have only 20pts (included religon pt) , is it very little chance?

早d同你地講學校既野, 家長同小朋以都可以早d準備呀.

我舊年呢個時候既家長會係簡單咁講下學校要求, 建議下大家可以做d乜來配合學校.  但今年轉左校長, 唔知有無唔同.

另外, 如果無記錯, 等埋大抽獎的家長一起舉行既家長會係8月尾.  呢個家長會好長, 差唔多成4個鐘.  學校會好詳盡咁講佢地既要求同其他資料, 仲會介紹下d老師.  舊年好好, 第一次安排小一生可以係呢日番學校玩下, 等佢地見下自己班既同學同老師.

20分唔係100%抽到, 但一定有機會.
不過你唔試就肯定無得入.
如果你真係想入呢間學校就試下啦

Competition is keen but there's still definite chance for 20 points.
