你哋好，我個囝有20分，如成功又好擔心未能追上學校成績，可否分享功課量，是否英文及普通話教學，即科學及數學是英文？有無校車去將中？是否很早,THX

My son is in P1. There are 5-7 homeworks everyday plus online excercise but the quantity is acceptable.  Teaching languages are mainly English (for English and Science lessons) and Cantonese (other subjects inclu Maths). Only PTH lesson is conducted in Putonghua. I live in Hung Hom and must get in the school bus before 6:50am. The 1st class starts at 7:45am.  There are almost 10 routes of school bus, I think TKO is on the list.

If your son is studying in a traditional kinder, it will be no problem in P1, otherwise, need to catch up.

LS seems not transparent enough, what we only know is
1) high academic
2) tense competition
what about the class size, and was told that when it gets higher grade like P3, daily home work could be10 and the pace of teaching is fast too, it could be like 10-15 pages per day and then quiz will follow.

Under the new rule, those direct-link schools will have 88 seats, so in what rank in class will be safe to LS Secondary.  For those could not make it, what school will they normally go to.

Thanks ddmama to start this topics.
My son is also apply LS this year.
I'd like to know whether there is high turnover in LS.
ie. New comer in P2-6 and will there be "advice" from teachers or principal to change to another school if the result is just in the middle of the class?

I am a P1 parent. Never heard they will compuls student to quit school, unless they have serious learning problem (those students need to take special school).

LS is a very good school indeed, giving a lot of care to the students.

你就好彩, 我表妹個仔(P.1)的老師就無你講o既(今)好la :-
表妹感受唔到老師的包容及愛心。"對於我們這班新仔家長更是循循善誘，不時給予良方及經驗之談，只為教導我們如何善用方法，引導及幫助我們的小淘氣。" - 不敢完全苟同。
佢個仔上堂時常傾計, 老師致電表妹告知,要表妹改善仔仔之情況，表妹就請教老師良方，老師的答覆竟是"你自己唸掂佢"。 老師再告知她仔仔的默書成績得80幾分唔係(今)好,話喇沙o既學生個個都90幾分,若再不勤力學校就會勸你轉校，所以P.2有好多插班位。
鬼叫佢地鍾意間學校，只可接受啦
間間學校都有佢o既優點和缺點 ，要幫孩子選擇一間適合的學校真係唔容易！
