ESF Year 7 Application

I have submitted an application for my daughter.
Any parent in the same boat?

We are waiting for the interview/test.
Does anyone has any experience from last year or the year before?

I would like to know if year 7 in ESF it is equal to local Secondary School Form One?

Which primary school does your daughter studied?

Year 7 in ESF is similiar to Primary 6 in local school. That is , if your child is now studying in P5 in local school - you should apply for Year 7 for sept 2007. Anyway, if you call ESF and tell them the date of birth of your child, they will tell you the applicable year level.

I have also submitted Year 7 application for my child at RC.   I have received a call from the school last Friday about an written test to be held this Saturday at the schoo.  I were told that if the written test was passed, they will have an admission interview within a week or so after the written test.

I think it is getting tough .. last year - Y7 no written test..

My son is now studying P.5 and I would like to apply for Year 7 for Sept 2007.

I have download the application form already but don't know where should I send to...

Last year no written test for year 7 - RC becasue RC was newly established and starved for students.

When there are more and more applications, RC can then introduce a written test for screening.

I do not mind the entrance test. In fact, I would rather prefer the screening.

Except the lower primary (ie, Years One and Two), it appears to me that they have to have at least 1 - 2 more classes to expend. Even if we are talking about 1 class only, that would be 23 (I think I read it somewhere they have 23 in one class) more students per year level.
