vic vs LH

小朋友收到cwb vic 同LH offer
Cwb vic pm class
LH am class

我知道vic比較活動教學，老師比較有經驗，校舍比較大，語境好。
LH就注重academic，比較催谷，小一升比較多新派直私，我自己都係target新派直私，如蔡繼有。

小朋友生活作息比較適合上午班，但家住港島，上學cwb vic 比較近。

大家會點揀？

但你情況，揀間近。超早最繁忙時間返學過海好辛苦

from your description, i think you prefer LH to Vic just that Vic is closer and they have better teaching resources

if i were you, i would consider:-

-) how much time it will take for your child to travel to school? if it is approximately or over an hour, i don't suggest you to, unless you are willing to move closer to the school and go to kowloon side as you aim at CKY

-) are you willing to put in a lot of efforts to train up your child for dss? i think LH has good offers including CKY not only because of their teacher style and reputation, but parents put in A LOT OF resources, time and efforts to train up their child, if you are willing to, go for LH since you have specific targets like CKY

-) vic has their own VSA but LH doesn't, is that one of your considering factors? do you like VSA?

其實我係ftm，都預左自己會教同為小一做準備，唔會淨係靠學校。而且都幾鐘意IB system, 所以cky、vsa都會係我考慮之一。亦因爲我鐘意IB，同想小朋友三文兩語都好，所以都幾鐘意vic。

Vic有vsa做back up，其實都係其中一個好重要考量因素，都怕考小一喺公海冇offer。

但我見LH嘅課程好似真係為小一做足準備，連書本都係自己設計，覺得好有心，而且近年升小成績好似越來越好。

所以好難決擇。怕自己做錯決定累左小朋友。

樓上講得好啱，揀咩學校要以小朋友角度去考慮，如果每日travel 超過一小時，實在不宜，另外仲有小朋友性格，日後會行條咩路，家庭背景等等。

另外你小朋友可以有LH的AM offer, 證明你和他的表現實在很出色，入Cky 可能不是太遙遠。

其實小朋友性格都幾斯文，好聽話，都幾聽教，比較慢熱，喜愛閱讀多過玩玩具。但我唔知呢個性格適合咩類型學校多d。

Victoria 不是100%入VSA, 好像只有3x%入, 所以VSA不能當backup.利申: 不是Victoria用家, 有錯請更正!

i would suggest u to go with vic:-

1) travelling is very exhausting for kids and may affect their learning and resting time
2) even now you are at pm, you can make request to change to am but it may take some time
3) if you like IB, vic is the only school in hk that offers IB from kindy
4) even though its not 100% guarantee that you can get to vsa, it is better than 0%...

如果係我都會揀cwb vic, 既然你鐘意ib, vic 正正就係由幼稚園開始一條龍ib, 而且又近屋企，我覺得pm class 反而問題冇咁大，小朋友適應力好強。

另外想講，cky 其實都幾辛苦，識幾個朋友的仔女讀緊都話唔輕鬆好吃力，唔係所有ib school 都係 happy sch!

想分享少少,我是VIC用家,姐姐的一對兒子是LH用家,所以都算對兩間學校有少少認知

VIC -IB課程,十分注重閱讀探究,鼓勵小朋友主動答問題,show and tell;睇好多書,但課程上,PN係十分輕鬆,完全無認字,只是劃線貼貼紙
K2開始先多寫字,

LH-極度注重學術,PN已經有一堆認字卡,詞語包括有醫生,警察...對我來講是不可思議,但小朋友真係會認到!  
只係看PN程度,已經相差很遠很遠

好睇你要邊樣,我自已覺得,LH就好需要家長努力配合,就可以事半功倍;小朋友學術上真係可以好叻!
我自己就唔想咁大壓力,再加上當年都考唔到LH,所以我覺得VIC都幾好,語境不錯,上學又開心,功課適量,程度算淺.不過可能好多人覺得唔夠就真.尤其考小一.

請問vic 學術是否夠考直私？ 是否都需要外補？
你覺得英普/三語該如何選？
