sure 英小, 因為目標希望小朋友入到band 1英中, 咁到時適應冇咁辛苦。

有幸我兩個小朋友而家都讀緊全英小, 所以已經達到一半目標...餘下就要睇佢地造化啦。

有很多一缐傳統名小學都是中文小學。

有很多新進直資小學標榜自己是英文小學，吸引家長。

但是，更多的是掛英文小學的名牌，但主要以廣東話教授。真正全以英文教課的學校，真的不多！除國際學校外!

我當年讀中文小學，有幸扣門考入一所「名」英中（以公開試成績聞名）。我記得當時部分從中文小學來的同學，中一時的確適應上有點困難，但是一至兩個學期已適應過來。當然，其他從英小上來的是比較易適應的。然而，因為我和部分中文小學上來的同學是超級書迷（高小時我很迷金庸，Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie)，適應上也沒半點問題 ：）
會考時英語拿A的同學，有數個從英小來的，更多是從中小來的，包括我們那郡書痴卻全都有幸拿A的。 反而部分從英小來的只能拿C (C是升中六的最低要求）。

In addition to language environment, there are other consideration that you need to take into account when choosing a primary school, e.g. whether it has through train secondary school, reputation, local system or IB, school fee, etc.  If you go to the secondary section in the EK, it seems that there are not many parents who regret that they did not choose an English primary school for their children, but there are many parents who regret that they did not choose a primary school that has through train secondary school.

I used to put language environment as the top priority for choosing the primary school for my child.  However, after balancing all the above factors, I end up choosing a Chinese primary school which has through train secondary school and has very good reputation.

Agreed.
I regretted not to take a through train school in primary, need to do extra extra works to secure a good secondary school.

我會選中小, 打好中文基礎.  英小就少咗接觸中文的機會, 上到中學好難適應中文科.  調返轉, 個人覺得小學時英文學得好, 上中學適應都唔會太難.

我都揀中小,因中文難學d,如果先學英文,d中文字簡直唔想寫......近排報纸寫有個印裔女律師,英文及法文勁醒,可惜中文只懂說,而寫方面極弱,連揾工都少機會好多......

我囝囝就是在這間中文小學就讀小一，最好的就是一條龍直上中學，不用為找中學而煩惱。

其實我覺得英小和中小不是選擇的重點，最重要係間學校本身是否符合家長的理念及要求。

最怕標榜英小個D, 其實NETS又唔多, 只是用英文書, 全部由本地老師教, 教到唔中唔西, 教壞師.
