I just submitted the form for my son for Tue and Thurs classes, the staff said need to wait for AT LEAST 10 months...

My son is 10 moths old now.. so not much hope either..

I enroll since I got the birth cert and luckily I got a place when he is 16 mths old.

Before I got the place, the staff mentioned it is easier to enroll for 3 days or 2 days class but yet there are very long queue.

But normally in Aug, babies go to PN then there will be vacancies, so wait till Aug la.

我個女3、4個月開始排平日2日班，到2歲超齡都排唔到。

My daughter was on the waitling list (belcher) since 1 year old, then 6 months later, they called us up and said that Sat playgroup will be suspended (for about 6 months) due to renovation work, so they just removed our name on the waitling list :(

講真... 如果唔係維記個名... 佢既PLAYGROUP真係唔值排咁耐LOR... 好
過佢既PLAGROUP出面大把..... 所以..如果你冇諗坐PN/K1讀佢.. 冇必要排佢囉

(P.S.: 我囝囝而家讀緊佢地SAT 既PLAYGROUP... 排咗足足1年)

so bad that though my baby joined their pg since last Oct (enroll since he was borned in Jun 09), maybe we are absent always due to frequent PN interviews in Oct, Nov, Feb and March, and there are many holidays and school own holidays from Oct to March, we have attended 14 classes in 6 mths! Esp. they won't let you go into classroom if he has cold/cough.....and end up, as my son is not smart and can speak very little up to now, we are only on the waiting list; but the younger daughter of my brother-in-law, who didn't do any tasks during interview get an offer; and he helps me to ask the teacher, they say there are priority for applicants with elder brother/sister studying there (as his elderly daughter is now in k1) and there are too many application in this case so most of the places are reserved for them.....

So if you intend to join pg because of getting a chance to get into their pg, you can try, as his elder sister did get the PN offer in this way.

but compared with my friends who join TT pg, they have more activities and provide more self managment training, though only a bit more expensive, I prefer TT. Joining Victoria PG is only for getting a chance for PN, and it proves chance is little as there are so many kids with elder sister/brother studying there, most of the places are reserved for their younger ones.

I feel so regret when I found TT is good....waste too much time on Victoria pg, and we have only attend 14 classes in total since we got a place from last Oct up to today....wasting $.

Understand.  Indeed, when I got the seat from Victoria, I also recevied called from TT for its playgroup.  As I know that I won't let my son study TT PN anyway, I decided not to pick the PG.  Also, at least my son can be familiar with the campus environment for some months before having interview, which I think still take the advantage over other non-PG kids.  

I guess most of the TT graduate will choose int'l sch at the end while  it's not my cup of tea.... I guess diff parents should have diff reasons to choose PG for theirs kids.. no wrong or correct choice indeed =).. just whether it's suitable to their own case....
