本人囝囝安排學敲擊樂, 去通利睇過 d 木琴, sales 話 Yamaha TX-6. 但不知啱唔啱學校的要求. 請可否提供紅木小二排木琴的 model. 唔該!

My son is also playing percussion in school. When he was in P1, I bought a xylophone which is suggested by school ( 2.5 octave). I bought it from " Hoi Sing" Piano Co. in Prince Edward. I think it is cheaper than Tom Lee. He is in P.2 now, most of the songs can't play in this 2.5 octave xylophone, because the range of the songs are much wider than before. So I bought a marimba (4.3 octave) for him last year.

My daughter also assigned to play the percussion. I bought 小木琴which is suggested by school from 凱聲 already. But I'm disappointed to knowing that she just can use 1 year. Can U tell me the "a marimba (4.3 octave)" how much is it? And how long yr son can use it?

學校要求 3 個八度, 通利話 Yamaha TX-6 得 2.5 個, 唔足 3 個. 如果用得一年又唔係好值. 請問你用緊 (4.3 octave) 的是什麼牌子和 model? Thanks.

我剛買的marimba是一隻日本牌子，大約$26000。它的size大約6呎x3呎。
其實我建議初學的，買部學校要求的2.5octave便夠了，讓小朋友試下是否真的有興趣，不然一開始便買台4.3octave的，便太浪費了！
大約在3級的考試曲目，有些pieces已經超過2.5octave。
