Yes, the teacher SAID they were threatened. Nobody was asking the students' opinion if they intended to threaten the teachers. If the teacher called the police, they can explain that to the judge.
second, even nobody can judge if the teachers were threatened in the sense of the law, ANYONE can judge the behavior of the students. Same as the student judge teachers if their conflict of interests or marking scheme. Freedom of speech, remember? Or is free speech a one-sided thing applicable to students only?
BTW, "that" particular behavior is "bullying" not freedom of speech.
Don't you get it? The only way they redeem themselves is to take the penalty gracefully and then they have the right to tell everyone let's move on.
