其實我個問題好簡單.........

聖芳濟沒有聯繫/直屬小學.....但有收5%band 2 學生.....咁放係 second choice 係咪我個仔一定入得到呢??

..........點解個個人講法都唔同嫁.......

你是正確的，另一位人兄所講的只可套用於有直屬或聯繫小學的中學，聖方濟不在此列。

講得極端些，如果聖方濟真的在統一派位收一大個BAND2生，你仔仔是BAND1，就算隨機號碼排最尾，你排聖方濟30都會入到。

這說法是假設
1. 聖方濟真的有收BAND2生（不是去年，而是你仔仔派位的那年)
2. 你的仔仔是BAND1

因無人能肯定上述兩樣一定是正確，所以經常有派位意外出現。

If 聖芳濟 (I don't know the school well) has no feeder schools, and it admits 5% band 2 students in the district from the central allocation (how can you tell?), then a band 1 student in the district selecting 聖芳濟 in his/her list will centainly get accepted by the school through the allocation if he the student fails in all the choices above 聖芳濟.

But how can you tell 聖芳濟 takes up 5% band 2 students? Schools seldom reveal such information. And how can you tell these 5% students are not through the "discretionary places" mechanism in the first round?

One more possibility is that those students are from another district.

Don't believe in unfounded myths. Most parents here have already told you the correct answer.

Most of these myths originated from the lies parents used to cover up their mistakes in making the selection for their kid or the lies parents used to cover up the fact their kid is simply not a band 1 student as they previously calimed.

聽你咁講我都定 d ......咁我一定唔會放聖芳濟係 first choice ......可能放係 third choice.....

多謝uncleedward 既寶貴意見......聖芳濟收5-10% band 2 學生係學校向明報披露......我個仔學校已經通知咗我第一次呈分試名次......所以我知道我個仔多數是band 1(除非餘下兩次呈分試考得好差).....聖芳濟都算係一間幾出名既學校......自行收生時收 band 2 學生唔多可能.....咁我唯一要考慮就只係聖芳濟有冇收跨區 band 2 學生 la.....

BillyM之講法不是沒有道理！但由於升中涉及之數字頗多，而一般人取得之數據非常有限…所以非三言兩語、簡單數學就可判斷！

uncleedward之講法亦有可能！不過“lies parent”似乎有點陰謀論，勿怪！

最後補充一點(我都唔想再爭論下去以恐傷bk間之感情)，一切還是由小彬彬決定，反正他才是受益/亦可能是受害者：

查聖芳濟中一有五班共200席，而中央派位(對油尖旺，就只得140席)，仲有60個學位去了那？

一) 自行分配學位估計佔去2、30席(通常學校在自行分配學位之時，一般都會盡量去揀一d甚麼奧數天才、劍橋冠軍、能文能武、十項全能、絕世奇才、還要懂飛天遁地…不過以聖芳濟之實力似乎未足以招攬絕頂高手！假如有兩位學生在你面前→一個band 1但是書呆子、一個band 2但活潑開朗而且是全港小學田徑x軍？你係校長會揀邊一個？

二) 還有2、3十席可能會分去其餘十七區，每區二、三個不等！如果沙頭角有位band 2同學願意長途跋涉、攀山涉水…以第一志願去博得一席學位，又會如何？

三) (5-10%) = 十至二十個位，好容易就爆滿！

以上只是個人推測，完全沒有事實根據；如有猜錯，全屬誤會！

小彬彬可嘗試在小六第一次考試完畢，找班主任傾傾，他才是專家！
