I hear somebody said the 1st interview still not yet finish until 24.10.06.  How come they will called out all the successful applicants for the 2nd interview for the 2nd batch (the one without any relationship)?

According to the lady I talked to, the 2nd interview will be started on 24th Oct. And they has been calling the successful applicants for 2nd In from Thur but not yet finished calling all the applicants. She said they have called "大部分"(in her words)of the 200 successful applicants already. Then I asked how "few" is the remaining. She said actually very very few,only a little.

without relationship-----how difficult to get a seat!

I've just called the school again (8:50am, 23.10.2006). She said that they have not callled all the 2nd interview candidates. They've just called those candidate who has to attend the 2nd interview early this week because they are afraid that the candidates could not received the letter in time and just want to give them a prior notice. They "might" not call every candidate especially for those will be interviewed later. In any case, she said that the 2nd interview would end on 6.11.06. If you do not hear from them or receive no letter by then, you may assume you fail. So keep checking your mail box.

BTW, I feel that they will call every candidate to make sure they will attend but may be 2/3 days before the interview date.

Anyway, still not hopeless!! :  :

Thanks for your information.  

It seems to me that the school has been given out different messages to different enquirer.   

So, keep on waiting!

Hi! I asked my husband to call this morning to Co-ed this morning again ( around 9:30 ),using a speaker phone. A young lady replied,the answer is similar as the messages recieved by jomum. She asked me to wait until this Friday. The message is different from what I heard on Saturday morning...Wait until Monday (today).

Really don't know what 's true? But ...200 calls can be finished within few days only.Therefore I don't except anything at the moment.

我知道有家長上星期四左右已收到電話通知2nd interview．那家長有問過，有得2nd interview的，絕大部份在上星期尾都已收到通知電話．

其實打２００個電話容乜易呀！我估計不用等到星期五了．

看了這post好失望, 即意味我個女冇咩希望啦, 其實想深d, 在二千幾人中抽二百人, 十個先選一個, 失敗機會是很高的。

yes, I agree with pumbaa let's not be so defeatist! this is just the beginning of our child's journey, I would be very happy to be considered for a 2nd interview, knowing fully we may fail at the last hurdle.
It's the experience that counts and your child will have gainned alot from this experience and opporturnity. After all learning is a experience and without exposure to mistakes and failures you do not mature.

2nd...通知你2nd interview時間
3rd...通知收唔收你


如果第一次in就失敗, 那就最多只會用兩個信封, 有2000人報名, 即他們有1800個沒用的回郵信封, 共有$2520郵費。

你個建議都唔錯, 你估佢地會不會叫d學校阿姐, 剪返個stamp出來, 好似細個個陣, 用d水浸返個郵票出來再用......不過, 到時就唔可以用"口水"啦......hahahah......我係咪好無聊呢.....我都覺....
