忽發奇想, 名校幼稚園是否靠抽籤而決定收生??

我睇左好多post, 總結歸納出一些有名幼稚園閒閒地幾千人報名面試, 假設大家小朋友表現都係一樣咁好, 佢地會於面試後將呢批小朋友記低資料group埋一齊, 另一批冇咁好嘅就group埋另一組, 然後分開抽籤, 比例可能係8:2(即好:冇咁好), 所以會有家長話點解我個仔表現咁好都唔收, 而有d表現一般嘅就有offer

大家講既都有d道理，仲有我哋要注意埋小朋友同家長自己去in 個日既衣著，連當初寄份表去申請時小朋友張相夠唔夠醒目，我哋填張form時字體夠唔夠端正(或者直情係用电腦打左print out)等等，我哋都要一絲不苟，特別係個d已經有一百/幾十年歴史而又係教會背景既學校 - 通常又係口俾好同名牌學校。

All dear parents, please be realized that LUCK is very few.  There are many other factors take into account from teachers/schools:
1.  Children's interview performance is most majority to some of school particular for those want to outstanding from those traditional school, e.g. LKP in Wanchai
2.  Children's interview peformance is 50% and parents' performance is 50% (teachers observe a lot during they talk to you or in group activities, I have many experience on this arean).
3.  Dress code on the interview date, both children and parents (some skill that you must know).
4.  How you fill up the application form, e.g.
a.  What information (e.g. cert./attendance record) and resume (e.g. evaluation report issued by your playgroup/PN school) that you put along into the application.
b.  Your writing is tighty and beauty?  It's better if you could make in computer print out.
c.  Children's photo is sharp and look smart on application form?
5.  How far you live away the kgs.
6.  Family background, e.g. address, parents' occupation, parents' working party etc. (you must know some skill)
7.  Who take care of children the most and parents/children relationship etc. (teachers could observe the situation during interview, very difficult hidden from their eyes).
All of  above are so concerned to the KGs in HK Island.  Many skill and technic you should know.  I don't know very much about the Kowloon side.  Feel glad if other parents could share their experience and knowledge.
My girl has 20% failure rate now, but I never feel those are unluck because I understand what wrong with my kid and me during the interview and will do more practice and improve next time.

幾時我都覺得幸運好重要!

但係我覺得無問題
只要有得讀
唔係名校都無問題
一樣有好老師, 一樣有派到好學校

名校就算有95%派到好小學
但我個B係o個5%都無意思

都係運氣問題!!

所以在interview之後, 我會同自己講, 學校收亞囡, 唔代表亞囡特別叻, 只是比較好運!
學校唔收亞囡, 唔代表亞囡差, 只是冇運!
因為我見好多父母見有名校收自己囝囡就可能開心過頭變咗太自大啦! 相反有d父母見沒有名校收就變咗自卑, 覺得自己囝囡無用! or 埋怨名校收生唔公平!

其實幼稚園都係社會的縮影,大家的際遇都會唔同,就等於你諗住自己返工做嘢都okay,點知偶著個唔好的老細,你都無乎. 小朋友面試已做得好好,可惜老師或學校亦會有自己的取向.
上帝自會為你安排最合適你的幼稚園!

我覺得而家既小朋友大多數都好叻，父母亦會用時間去train佢地，所以interview時一定有好多都表現得好好，咁d老師點去選呢？lucky draw唔係無可能，但個人覺得如果係一d出名又熱門既KG，一定係會睇埋父母先，e.g. background, 住邊, 職業, 當日表現.... etc. 所以各位由一入到KG門口就要緊記自己既一舉一動都有影響，有時interview時個老師亦唔一定會對你好聲好氣，呢個時候記住佢可能唔係唔禮貌，而係考緊你EQ，因為EQ高既父母先會教出EQ高既小朋友。

我覺得如果真係超額得好離譜就可能會揀in得最好既抽籤, 咁都好合理


有d家長上黎話自己仔女in得差, 但你又唔知人地差既standard係點0者


又或者有d家長話自己仔女in得好好, 可能只係佢覺得好, 老師並唔係咁諗喎


而家有太多家長將自己小朋友放到好大, 覺得自己仔女係資優, 乜都叻過人地


我都有朋友話自己小朋友interview時乜都識答, 但in左幾間只係得一間名氣最低既學校有offer.  佢仲不停埋怨間學校唔好

我唔知係咪真係抽籤, 不過我覺得如果好似kv & sc 收成600人但我個仔都係得waiting, 我對其他幼稚園就更加冇信心了. hkps咁多人見先收20個位我知我一定冇份, 聖三一又reject咗我. 祟真我明天先in, 我深信我係最後一批人去in仲邊會有位收我, 佢只不過係收咗我$50同我做場戲咁lor, 我覺得一間收你就好似間間都會收, 一間waiting就間間唔係waiting就reject, 我仲有民生同創價都等緊結果, 不過我覺得我又係會衰lor, 一樣咁多人爭. 唉.....我究竟爭d咩呀????

不過,依家d人一知你有細路,
第一句,仔定女?
第二句,讀邊間學校呀?

名校的話,大家即刻覺得彼此係盟友,話題滔滔不絕...
如果你答無人識的學校, 大家就好難傾落去...

依家社會就係咁, 幼稚園已經要爭做名校生, 有d學校其實幾離譜,申請表要寫埋父母讀邊間小學,中學,大學,講真,關你咩事呀

haha, 果個咪係我! 我初頭真係唔知kv同sc係咪學校架...
因為我住係香港區呀, 我點會同亞囡報九龍d學校呢, 我自己過海返工都唔想la

所以我真係唔明點解個個住咁遠都要報九龍塘d學校...

返幼稚園要近屋企, 呢個道理唔會有錯掛

Yes, agreed.  Some schools asked to fill up parents' education level but SC is the one that asked parents list our school history and the schools' name on the form.  My husband insisted not to disclose such info. as he thinks that it is none of business with our kid applied the kg.  At the end, I even not go to interview the school - No big deal.
