SC Vs Kent Vs Pui Ching Vs SPN

My daughter will be accepted by SC (AM), Kent (AM) & Pui ching (AM) in 2006 K1. Also,my daughter is studying in N1 in St.Paul Nursery(SPN).SPN must promote in St.Paul Convent school.
We live in kowloon. I also have a son who is 1 year old. What should I choose within these 4 schools?
It is very difficult to choose between PC & SPN, both KG also have primary support.
All of the smart mother, can you help me?

You have a difficult situation! :-| If you had two daughters, then you would have been very happy to keep on studying in SPN.

Now, you have a younger son. If you want them to study in the same kindergarten, primary and secondary school, Pui Ching may be your best choice. However, if you don't mind to let them studying in different primary and secondary schools, you can let two of them studying in SPN as I know that SPN is a very good full day nursery. How's your girl studying in SPN? Is she happy? Do you think the school is good or not?

幼稚園係每個人分別去睇呀, 因為無分計, 好難講喎!

民生同根德園都收咗我個女, 我依家陀住嗰個又未知係仔定女, 我都同你一樣咁諗就算讀完根德園都唔一定入到好小學.

我個女入唔到培正呀, 所以我會選民生囉!

Thank you for all of you to reply me.I will register Pui Ching first on 19.1.2006. I will give up SC & Kent.
SPN & Pui Ching is also a good school. I like both schools as well.I afraid I will feel regret when I give up SPN or Pui Ching.But SPN is quite far away from my home( West KLN). My husband like SPN & my parent like PC.Can you help me????

I live in West Kln. also. So I did not apply in Hong Kong side.
In your case, I would like SPN. It is good with primary and secondary school.

小朋友幼兒的階段是成長期最重要的幾年,搵一間好的幼稚園/幼兒園非常非常重要! :idea:
你囝囝到今年9月足2歲未?

如果未足,你囝囝要入讀培正都要2008年9月足3歲先可以入K1! 到時你囡囡已是 N4/K3的學生, 其實兩姊弟同時係同一幼稚園的時間只是1年.而且你要有心理準備,姊姊入到培正,弟弟未必一定入到.:-| 所以兩姊弟應該獨立安排才最穩陣,亦對姊姊較為公平,唔應該為了弟弟,而要讀得好地地的姊姊轉校.

反之,如你囡囡一直係聖保祿幼兒園讀的話,你反而可讓囝囝於07年9月足2歲時入讀N1,他們反而有2年係同一幼兒園的時間,方便你照顧. 到時即使你讓囝囝讀其他幼稚園,囡囡到時已N4,你大可讓她自己乘校車回校,我見很多住西九龍的小朋友都係乘校車返聖保祿.加上聖保祿幼兒園是全日學校,你其實會有更多充裕的時間照顧囝囝.

如你讓囡囡於06年9月轉讀培正,你反而有2年時間既要照顧讀半日放學的囡囡,及未返學的囝囝!你要有足夠的心理準備及家庭支援!

培正和聖保祿兩間學校都有很好的小學及中學作後盾,我個人意見認為,銅鑼灣聖保祿幼兒園是我所見過最好的幼兒園,小囡有幸入讀SPN後,更加肯定我的想法.加上學校的師資,極低的師生比例,設施,膳食,學習的安排,自我表達及自理的培訓,我相信好難再搵到一間幼兒園可以同SPN比美!

而古修女更是我所見最有熱誠及喜歡親近小朋友的園長.

祝你早日有個快樂及明智的決定!

Thank you for your reply. My daughter is studying in N1A.How about your daughter?I like SPN's shool life.I have some problem to ask you. You mentioned that you know some of the students who live in west KLN, they can take the private school bus. Can I get more information about this? Since July,last year, I tried my best to find this bus, but failed. Some of them cannot afford this route for us due to not many students to take on. I tried to contact Mrs.lai who is responsible for the route from SPK to KLN, but she replied that she can arrange very early time for my daughter.I cannot accept.So, I still take the public transport to SPN now.I eager to find the private school bus.Can you send the E-mail for me?

SPN/SPK accept boy, but there are a few of boys to study. For example, not more than four boys in 2005 N1 in each class.The total students are 60 in N1 in 2005.
SPC is a girl school. Also, SPN/SPK do not have relationship between St.Paul's boy or St.Paul co-ed.

Sorry, I only know Mrs Lai has provided the school bus route from Kowloon <=> St Paul's Convent. If you find the pick up time too early and want to find another one, I suggest you to post your question in the topic "聖保祿幼稚園家長會" in 談幼稚園. There are many parents living in Kowloon. You can ask for more information there.
