2 are famous. Personally will choose one is near home and with less classes (teachers would be more caring?) Hope you can make up your mind soon and release the seat to waiting kids.

咁係咪SKH好D呀?因為佢地少班D?

點解你覺得skh好d呀?

我想問吓有無媽咪既小朋友讀緊其中一間可以話我知,課程,老師方面既野呀?因為我無識人有小朋友响呢兩間讀過呀,希望有人幫到我啦!

因為好驚選錯,除咗為個大仔,我仲有個細女,所以好緊張.

I have friends studying both KG....

SKH - loving and caring teachers, good allocation result, emphasis on discipline, train more on Chinese, comparatively weak on English, have voucher, but will relocate the school next year - places unknown

KV - also loving and caring teachers, spacious campus, good allocation result, strong on dicipline and self learning training, very good on Chinese and Mathematics, comparatively weak on English, no voucher, have no problem to promote P1 - very much adoptable

So I think both of them are good just depends on which schools are closer to you and the arrangement of nanny bus - you still have another small girl to arrange....

If you live in TST,
really similar time to go to both sch.

I think SKH is better because it provides good quality of teaching with very reasonable price, so can really save a lot for extra curricular activities.


If you have a younger daughter also, then you need to consider the chance of your younger daughter to get into the same KG, (SKH accepts big kids, and intake smaller no. of students) (KV prefers big kids, but occasionally accepts small kids, and intake more no. of students).

有關SKH既課程, 你可以上學校網頁到看到, 佢地每個星期都有UPDATE上網.
KV VS SKH, 我覺得2間都係好學校, 2間學校都有共同之處, 就是學校比較注重紀律和傳統教學, 2間學校的學生, 所考到既小學都是數一數二, 所以咁多年來, Lee2間學校都有咁多人考. 以我所留意, SKH會比較多親子活動, 如果你唔係太多時間出席的話, 就讀KV啦 ! 不過KV課程係深過SKH, 讀SKH會輕鬆D, 睇下你自己想點取捨.

KV唔收我仔仔, 當時都好失望, 無諗到SKH收咗阿仔, 如果當時KV收咗阿仔的話, 我就唔會考SKH, 因當時我唔知SKH係咩, 後來先SKH咁好,  所以我就知, 其實所有野, 都係個天安排咗, 你不用擔心, 個天自有安排你小朋友既未來.

你SKH收咗上午/下午和中環/畢拉山呀, 我係中環下午班呀 !

Aug baby is small baby for both SKH and KV,
I don't know friend's children studying in SKH, so I hope other mothers can help.
My friend's daughter is studying at KV and thus I know there are some Aug kids.

Yes, KV accepted Aug children as my friend's son is mid Aug boy and got accepted to KV am class this year.

My child was born in Nov and is now doing pm class in SKH.  Being a small child is not a problem in SKH.  It accepts a lot of small children but usually they are put in to the pm classes.  If you have a sibling that's a current student, you're almost guaranteed a place for the yourger one, and the younger one can most likely go to the am class.

skh課程係比kv淺一些, 但並不是程度淺, 你看看網上k3既課, 都幾深架, 所以應該唔會跟唔上小學, 我睇返之前既媽媽講, skh K3 都幾谷嫁TIM.

老老實實, 純講升小比例, SKH係好過KV, 因SKH只有120個學生, 但KV就有600個學生, 不喜勿插.

我家住9龍東.

讀kv果個小朋友會唔會好辛苦呀?聽聞功課好多.
咁想問SKH既數學科係咪相對KV淺呀?KV既數係咪深D呀?
兩間既小朋友係咪好有紀律同埋有禮貌呀?

因為我個小朋友係大仔,2月仔,所以想了解多D課程既深淺,是否適合我個仔,THANKS!

或者仲有無家長可以SHARE吓呀? 好似無咩KV家長入黎講.

I would choose SKH as they accept  voucher. I can save $$ for other activities......

Hi Sweetlollipop,

I have known the boy studying in SKH - very independent, polite and discipline - got admitted into SPCC coming September.

For KV, I knew 2 brothers studying KV before and now both of them are studying in DBS.  And my friend's son who is a Aug baby and got admitted into KV K1 coming September.  My cousin was also studying KV decades ago and graduated from Maryknoll Convent School then HKU.

Since KV has no limitation from EDB's voucher system, they can practise their own way - dictations, writing....  So some of the BK mami's have a concern if the children are happy studying there, but so far all my friends told me their kids are happy studying there.

In SKH, my friend told me that the homeworks and dictations become more intense on K3 especially Chinese.

I haven't compared maths from both KG, but KV is well known as good in Chinese and Maths.  The most important part is they can train up the children to do the homeworks and revision themselves.  And as per my perception, KV has a free hand to teach whatever they want and they have so many years experience on training children to go into a famous Primary School.

So I think both of them are very traditional and good KG.  If money and transportation are not your concern, you might consider which primary schools are your target.

SKH --> SPCC and some DSS in HK Island
KV --> DBS, DGJS, La Salle, SFA....  mainly in Kowloon side

Hope you can choose the one suit your family.
