Luk Yeung had their 1st nursery class started from this year. My son is their student. Well, although Gordon has attended several interviews in Kowloon Tong kindergarten. I'm not that worry if they don't accept him cus I think Luk Yeung is quiet good. My son likes Luk Yueng very much and he learns very fast such as he knows how to hold a pencil that I've never taught him before. This is all learn from the nursery class. Some mommys may say that they have lots of homework to do for the kids, honestly, do you want your kids to have a hard life in the primary stage? A harder life in his kinder schooling, a easier life for him in his primary stage. It is fair.
Currently, they provide around 20-25 mins English lessons every day and a Mandarin lesson in each Friday. This is fine to me. Besides, I use to speak English with him so, it is not a problem for him to understand English. While for Mandarin, I plan to start Mandarin with him next year. I guess those popular kindergartens in Kowloon Tong are just doing the same like me.
Just like 必必 said, their principal has changed, she is a Canadian, although she is a Chinese but she don't speak Cantonese or Mandarin, but only English. As I know, there are around 4-5 teachers who speak English only.
Because it is the first year for their nursery class, I'm sure they will do their ever best for their nursery class to promote their school.
