I fully agreed and support what 麟媽媽 have stated, we as a "arent" also need to do some homework or background checking before you advice or comment, otherwise on a no fact basis, one will fall into a bias opinion.

華仁or聖若瑟兩間都係好學校，只係各有所好啫。
以客觀來睇，華仁小學位雖少，但小朋友無咁大壓力、無太多不必要的競爭，學校人情味較濃，而且對升中來說，耶穌會大把學位，絕對有能力搞掂全部自己的小學生，直屬或變唔變一條龍根本無大分別，華仁的學位比起其他名校：如la Salle(驚)貴得多，而且華仁亦會重建。
聖若瑟學位比較多，但亦現實得多，學校對學生有一定的高要求，無論小學生、家長、升中.....壓力大得多，兩間中學都係超級band1英中，梗係揾間無咁大壓力嘅來讀，只在乎能否入去讀到。

呢個係絕對冇可能的事。  因為如果小朋友是聖若瑟小學band 1 生已經直入聖若瑟書院；  如果唔係band 1生，自己中學都唔收，華仁中學(以及其他band 1中學)又點會收呀？

you played with words very well. the final conclusion form your advice is that there is no gurantee wah yan second will take wah yan primary like in the past because of the new 75% requirement. i checked and found out that you made analyse in a thread in the pastand you quoted figures and said wah yan has lesser chance now days and even worse than st jo situation. but you wah yan parents all suddenly kept silent and met with wah yan school to protest in the dark, not to make angry wah school managemnet, i know from som wah yan parents. Now you tried to play down the situation. the real fact is wah yan will not promise to take back all not up to english standard of wah yan primary boys. i clearly remember the percentage you showed us to support wah yan situation is worse than st jo.

At present St Joseph's college only admit 60% from its primary school. The percentage is low (if not the lowest).

其實有幾多分去報機會大呢？
係首輪自行分配學位，
基本上20 分以上先好入表，
因為20 分以下抽籤都無機會。
St. Jo 係呢個階段有約150個學額，
華仁因為分左上、下午校，
只可報其中一晝，只得37 個學額，
論抽中機會，應St. Jo 高得多。

St. Jo 多學額，升中競爭自然大，
英文水準亦高，小朋友要好努力，
應該OK 既，我兩個朋友既仔，
都可以keep 住全級50名之內，
話唔辛苦無壓力你都唔信喇。

華仁壓力無咁大，但都總有壓力的，
而家讀咩學校都係咁架喇。
學校操行都捉得幾緊架，
如果小朋友無時停，你要預左，
可能日日都比人寫手冊，紅當當呀。

不過眼見呢兩間既學生都是快樂的，
St. Jo 既比較活躍一點，華仁的定一點。
有時壓力未必只來自學校，反而是來自父母。

I know both your sons studied in wah yan prim and you cannot admit the truth that Wah Yan Sec principal already stated about half a year ago that they will not dragon with wah yan primary because of the deteriorating english standard of wah yan prim. this is to also safe Wah Yan from forced to change into CMI secondary school because of 75% threshold for english langauage ability of all secondary form one students.

Don't misguide BK parents by your so called figures on how many students in each and the percentage of admission to secondary, this is not the point at all because we are talking about breaking the dragon. By the way, your figures are history and when teh new 75% englsih standard come on to effective, then these figures are meaningless at all.

Face the reality. Tell the truth to parents. Even those not admitted back to st jo secondary, they are still better than the best students in other schools. Wah Yan will surely take more st jo boys than wah yan boys because the st jo boys english is much better than wah yan boys. Understand?

May I have the following comments on the above statements you made.

1.  I agree with you that the overall English standard of St. Joseph's students may be above Wah Yan's.

2. However, with regards to the top 25 % amongst the band 1 boys in Wah Yan, your statement may not truly reflect the real situation.  Indeed, the English standard of the cream in Wah Yan should not be inferior to those of St. Joseph's.

你講的是否真的己confirm Wah Yan Sec principal said will not dragon with Wah Yan primary OR 只是有chance not dragon only.  This is different ga wor.

而接龍的限期是2012, then if this year Sept 06 to study at Wah Yan primary that means 2012 just time to Form 1.   甘影響唔到今年入學的小一.  

Please correct me if I'm wrong!

我不是華仁家長，當中情況我不便多加評論。  但作為聖若瑟家長，可以話你知事實並不如你所想像。  

聖若瑟中學唔收的小學同學，並不是唔憂冇學校收。  還記得去年幾次呈分試主要科的試卷都出得十分之深，本來考A的同學變了考B，這些同學當然冇無題，他們仍然是band 1生，但成績稍遜的同學就會由B變C，甚至D。  這些band 2生好彩的話，大抽獎會入番自己中學，唔好彩的，連去其他比較好的中學取報名表都冇資格，因為大部份好的中學都要求主要科有B以上。

事非經過不知難，當中壓力只有自己知。

我懷疑他根本在"撥火", "撩交打",
完全冇諗個會報讀華仁,
只是在"唱衰其他學校", 暗地裡就報其他學校,
這些人最好是不理他, 唔洗回應,
等他自己發瘋語,
他越講得多, 其他人就會知道他"冇料".
