I get the seat of int'l class but only in pm..... anyone know .... is int'l class only in pm???

No, my friend said last year they have two int'l class in am.  My son also got accepted in the pm session.

Is anyone know their academic level? My daughter also got a seat at PM session. I just considering this school because need to pay whole month fee.

Any of parents can share your veiw?

I have just checked with the school this morning. They said the international am classes are full even before the interview because it is reserved for the students from playgroup. Only pm session is available for outsiders. I feel so much better if my child is admitted to pm session becasue of this reason.

Actually my son got accepted in Keenmind, Kentville, St. Cat and Ascot HK Pre-school in am session, only Kln Tong Pre-school is pm.  I have paid the registration fee for St.Cat only, cos my daughter was in St.Cat before. But the parent of my daughter's school friend in CCKG is highly recommend this school, especially for boy.  The acceptance rate to DBSPS is very high, almost close to CCKG this year.  That's why I consider.  I think I will pay anyway.  I have called the school today, they said they have 2 int'l & 1 Chinese-Eng class in am session and 1 int'l & 1 Chinese-Eng class in pm session this year.  The no. of student is 29 in a class most, some are less.  Any other things to share?

hi Kristiema..... If you like SC, why you still pay pre-school ar..... is Preschool really very good? Frankly speaking, I don't know about this kinder much...... only feel it's languages education good.

I got the letter but it haven't said that they accepted my daughter in am or pm class.(Int'l Class)  And it is very suprised to pay HK$3300 for reservation.  Do you have any comment about this school?  Specially about the int'l class, where will they go after K3?
Please advise!!!

In fact, I don't know much about this kindergarten. Only know the languages ( english & putonghua) are well. During the three times visit, I found there are many NETs and the students seem very happy and confident. That's all I know! But if only having pm seat, I think I won't take it because I think 3 years old kids need to have nap each day. And I asked the receptionist that can I change to am..... she only asked me send an requested letter but not sure, and need to pay the $3300 first......

which one to go? SC? KV? HKPS? I don't know ai

I will pay the 2 preschools anyway, since posted dated cheque only and can withdraw anytime before 1 May 2006

you just need to send them a post dated cheque and they would only deposit your cheque on 1 June ma, if you want to withdrawn just write to them (for Ascot just b4 1 June 2006 for Kowloon Tong 1month b4 1 June 2006 ie. b4 1 May), no need to pay any other charges wow..........

Hi Safarimama, Potatoiris,

I still haven't make up my mind yet, SC is a famous school, but a lot of students. My husband worry that they cannot take care of everyone in such amount of students.  Whereas HKPS is new, less students, the headmistress is working very hard to upgrade the school.  

My daughter changed to CCKG in K2.  She enjoyed very much cos she likes to talk in English,  the student in SC doesn't  talk in English to each other.  My son also prefer to talk in English cos he is studing the pre-nursery class in an international kinder.  The class I applied for him in HKPS is int'l as well, so I think may be more suitable for him.

The staff told me this year DBSPS took 8 of their students, last two years was 4 & 8.  Which is not bad.  The school will teach the kids violin in K2 during the music lesson.  The school has a lot of activity for the students to join, so no need to bring him to learn outside.  That's why I am considering of this school.

yes, I called the schools to confirm already! For Kowloon Tong the cheque dated 14 Jan; for Ascot the cheque dated 1 June; both will only deposit your cheque by 1 June 2005, but should note the different handling regarding notice to school for withdrawal between the 2 schools on my previous post!

btw, I have 2 friends now studying in Ascot, they both highly recommend this school to us, lot of activities, children's speaking ability are high!
