劍橋小學英語考試由英國規模最大的考試機構劍橋大學考試局(Cambridge ESOL)創辦。考試共分三個級別：第一級(Starters)、第二級(Movers)及第三級(Flyers)；各級別考試包括：閱讀理解與寫作、聆聽,以及會話三個元素。會話以一對一模式進行，考生將由一名具認可資格和經驗，並以英語為母語的英語教師進行面試及評估。

以下資料只供參考，經常運用英語的兒童，可應考較高級別的測試而不受歲數建議限制 :-

第一級 (Starters) – 適合七歲以上兒童，一般為小一至小二學生

第二級 (Movers)–適合八至十一歲兒童，一般為小三至小四學生

報名表可於英國文化協會索取，或於本網站下載。
