Very happy school life. Excellent spoken english. Lively kids. A lot of performances (parents need to buy tickets, I heard the forthcoming one in the Hung Hum Coliseum (!))

Don't know the academic side, since the 1st class has not graduated.

蔡繼有是一所私立小學，雙班主任制，外籍老師為班主任，本地教師為副班主任，校長和老師都很有愛心。大部份的小朋友聽講能力不錯(英文與普通話)，沒有功課壓力，但書寫能力要靠家長，由於校舍為前柏立基教育學院址，學生較難集中，故紀律略為寬鬆。一條龍中學未建成，課程未能與中學會考銜接，學生多會往外國升學。學生在這12年會沒有太大壓力和十分開心，讀完中小學才算!

有朋友同我講, interview時填問卷收集一些父母背景可以理解, 但點解有一項叫爵位? 係咪父母有MBE, OBE, 什麼荷蘭水蓋機會高d? 問考生三條問題 (全部問同保xx的關係), 朋友話都唔知係父母讀定個子女讀. 本來我都幾鐘意佢, 但聽完呢d野對佢大打折扣.

1st in 有問過"職位",但問卷從來冇要求填"爵位",亦冇人問過. 係咪有誤會?

I finished the 1st int. They just asked about the occupation of both parents, but didn't ask about the "爵位". I think someone has misunderstand! The interview was quite completed. It tested about the children's motor, chinese, english, maths & observation. & the academic level is not so hard!

我等到今日都無通知, 有無2nd in 都唔知, 我都唔考慮佢囉.

佢講得好肉緊架, 仲話另一個家長問d職員點解有d咁的問題, 覺得好唔尊重人, d職員答是school policy, 個家長嬲到說簡直侮辱哂d1950-1965年出世d人喎 ....

我一諗起如果ｃｋｙ真係問ｄ家長咩”爵位”，就忍唔住笑出嚟！香港都回歸左咁耐．．．就算未回歸之前，都好少有人（重要係中國人）獲封爵啦！

其實係份問卷有問，定還是係職員（聽講有部份可能係家長義工）問呢？如果真係問卷白紙黑字寫出嚟，就有ｄ奇怪，因為問卷內容理應份份一樣，但我地填個份就肯定冇呢個咁特別既ｉｔｅｍ．如果係職員或家長義工問，會唔會係溝通問題呢，即係如果你既廣東話唔夠靈光，會唔會可能將”職位”讀到好似”爵位”咁呢？

估下咋，不過問”爵位”真係好攪笑

咁爵位個ｐａｒｔ係咪列左”公，侯，伯，子，男”比佢揀呢？ｄMBE,OBE,JP之類既銜頭，好似唔係”爵位”嚟喎！

你朋友份問卷咁特別（至少呢度都未有家長話填個份咁既問卷），問到咁深入，你估佢會唔會有大ｄ機會入蔡繼有呢？2nd in 左未？咁我地前幾日去2nd in，校長都冇問到咁深入，都係衰多啦！

Dear all,
There's a misunderstanding here concerning the questionnaire that parents had to fill in during the first interview. In the questionnaire, there are about 6-7 questions in both English and Chinese, except for the question about parents' qualifications which is in English only. To complete that question, there are choices to be ticked by the parents. They are 'secondary', 'post secondary', 'graduate' and 'post graduate'. Perhaps some parents misinterpreted the meaning of them to be sort of honours or titles. When I heard of it from a friend, I guessed that the school did it purposely as parents really have to know all the choices by themselves without any Chinese translation. It's virtually a test on the parents!
