因為我老公要報LHT , 其實我唔鐘意. 因為TKO 有兩所津貼PLK質數亦唔錯,
而LHT 要比$$ 係咪好唔抵?

我都有呢個感覺. 不過参考佢一條龍嘅羅氏基金中學網頁覺得似乎好先進, 就試下啦! 我個女星期三会玄去"真道" 2nd interview 呀! 你有無揀其他真資呀?

驚呀, 咩都未定, 課程係點又唔知.
$1200 學費都係第一年, 第二年就加價.
與其係咁優才好d 啦.(如果優才收, 而我又比得起 $2200 學費)

Dear parents,

Have you attended the seminar organized by LTH in early July & Sept and those by WWS & FC ? If so, you may identify the difference of the followings:-

1. The Principal's belief on primary education.
2. Additional resources provided to children, i.e outdoor activities, language and multiple intelligences development, sports and music.
3. The teacher's mix and their respective role in the school.

I had attended all the seminar and gathered all relevent info. from parents and school. My personnal opinion is that LHT placed a relatively higher weight on above 3 aspects and the school has enough resources ( of course from our parent's monthly subsidy fee) to train our chilren an all-round students utlimately with self-learning ability and strong base in language of both Chinese and English, of which very important to their secondary education.

Of course, I trust all PLK schools in TKO are good. The choice depends on the willingness to let our child get more in their school life by paying cost.

LHT d 興趣班(eg.一人一樂器)好似要另外收費.
swimming 肯定要另外收費, 因為當日個老師見我仔有學緊, 就話佢地來年要求小朋友一定要學swimming,
我就問係咪學校provide, 佢話唔係, 要自己出去學.

SCHAU ,多謝你的料呀!我只係去過FC一間, 對LHT完全唔了解, 不過interview嘅老師話LHT全部用活動教學最吸引我. 可惜學校比夠小, 其他千禧校社感覺上可有較大活動空間. 好想聽多D你的資料搜集同分析. Thanks in advance.

Each school has its own characteristic and strength/weakness, and your choice would be much dependent on your own priorities and child's character. Traditional school without much resource spent on students compared with other direct-subsidy-schools doesn't mean the child has less competitiness.

For me, I would choose LHT as the performance of all above aspects are all well-balanced and I think my child could  learn things in school with worth (value/$$).

Hi, 各位考慮入這間小学的家長, 有否想到為何TKO有三間PLK, 論設施及環境, 黃永樹肯定優勝, 為何是LHT可轉為直資? 轉直資除PLK內部審批外, 最後要經教统局批, 我認識一位在TKO的小学教師, 他說當時黃永樹也同時遞交轉直資的申請報告向上批, 两间競争得很激烈, 最後由LHT争取到

早幾日同班師奶(來年仔女升小一)的媽咪八卦,佢地話LHT之所以轉為直資是因為收生不足,轉直資可以增加吸引力,學校可收取學費之餘,教學自由度亦相應提高.唔知係真唔係?

不過半年前將軍澳有門道教聯合會小學因收生不足而轉做直資,可有聽聞?

YES, 上年我有到TSUI LAM 一道教學校聽轉直資簡介會, 但不知何故該校好似無咗下聞. 請問 LHT 直資中學羅氏基金中- 至中三是否須要交學費.

以宝林區來說, 一直是LHT和梁潔華是最有名, 向來超額收表(1st round),上年, 因王余家潔和李潤才結龍後, 而LHT已轉直資, 王便也開始超額. 所以LHT不是因收生不足而轉直資, 我的女兒(now p.2 at LHT) 及同班同學那年選它便很多也派不到, 女兒是叩門入的

女兒已讀了1 年, 学科成績也不錯, 其實PLK是以谷學業成績掛帥, 所以如選它, 目的是希望中一派位banding高, 如希望小朋友愉快學習的話, 就要選那些較著重課外活動的學校, 其實每間學校都有他們的特點, 最重要家長們放成績為首或讀得輕鬆, 活動多為首, 試想, 很難兩者兼備, 這是我個人觀點而已

   羅氏基金 F1-F.5 也要交足學費, $1200 / month.
   政府規定結一條龍的中小學, 一定要相同辦學模式,如真光, 小學是私立, 中學是派位津貼, 也只是屬聯繫, 不是一條龍

Totally agree with your point of view. BTW, could you share more on your child's school life, especially the language development (I know LHT wish to develop child's ability on word power in P.1 & P2 for creative writing & comphension in P.3 onwards) & outdoor activities.

Do you know how many (or % of all students) P.1 students this year come from the 3 linked PLK kindergartens. Ths.

Pls have a look on 羅氏基金 web-site as described in my previous chat below. I advise you that we should evaluate seriously to see whether LHT suit our child by looking for more information on that school, is it fit for your child's character and parent's expectation before making decision as it cost $$ from P1 to Form 6.
