According to findings before, the chances of getting into the first 3 choices in the 31 is lower than the average HK rate of around 8x%.  (not to mention 41 net which is even lower as most parents there choose either MCS or La Salle)

The hits of 31 net e.g. St. Mary (now a 一條龍學校)and the two YMT Catholic schools have quite limited spaces (St. Mary: around 60 spaces for central allocation, YMT Catholic schools : around 80 spaces (boys+girls) each for central allocation) I guess there maybe well over/close to 100:1 to compete for space in each of these renown schools. (Correct me if I'm wrong. Moreover, it's difficult to estimate how many parents borrow address to allow them for central allocation in school nets they desired too).

Anyway, though the birth rate falls (lowest at year 2003) and even if only 2 competes for 1 space (50:50 chance) in a primary school, there is always a loser out of the two.

I got some confuse before, but I learnt from other topic that is a Chinese secondary school even it named 英文中學. Is it easy for CMI school get on the bus as this school admitted 40% band 2 student in past few years ?  

好多野係名不符實,有人鐘意叫自己做大隻妙,實得5尺高80磅唔夠.
