got offer too。but a bit weird with the deadline。offer letter dated 14 feb n to pay in two weeks，ie today is deadline。 but invoice and stamp chop dated 26/2 (yesterday) so i can only receive today。 so deadline sb two weeks from 26/2?

hi, I would like to enquire from you, international section the main teacher are western or native English speaker ? I have contacted a western teacher who suppose is my daughter class English session teacher, after CNY holiday, he told me school arranged another teacher for my daughter English session and he wouldn't teacher LG1 class . And after that I found out that english teacher is HKese, I send her email to ask weekly schedule matters, she didn't reply immediately until Korean section secetary remind her to reply my email, one important point is, her English writing skills is HK style with wrong grammer, but Secretary mentioned she studied in UK and is qualified teacher in HK. My BBC friend read her email English writing also think this is HK style English but not native. My daughter will follow her to learn English and she starts school tomorrow, I'm so disappointed about this arrangement. Local school also has NET to teach English, how come IS hire not native English speaker to teach English ! In this case, I will evaluate their education and teacher qualification. That's why i want to check with you international section English teachers quality !

International section - English teachers are all native.
I am not too sure what happens at Korean section and how much importance they place on English, as they run the Korean curriculum. The administration of two sections are entirely different (two different school principals) so you need to check with other parents from Korean section how that is arranged and why that is so.

In fact not all local schools have NET and there are schools with only 1 or 2 NET teachers for the whole school...

In this case I may consider to apply International section, English oral and writing skill also is important! Luckily my daughter LS all are NET to teach English !

Yes you may speak to the school management to make a switch - but I would encourage you to also inquire Korean section about the arrangement first (I am sure there are reasons why you picked Korean section in the first place). If you come to international section, your daughter can still take Korean language as 2nd language so she won't miss out on it.

I brought my daughter went to school, I feel so impression about International section principal morning welcome students back to school ! And I sat with western teacher in bus...I tried to talk to her, she is teaching at KIS secondary section...we talked alot and she is very nice ! So lucky you all the kids can study at International section has a very nice Principal and teachers...I believe I will let my daughter switch to International section when her Korean language with some Oral foundation skill.
