可以盡量用email溝通，起碼可以查字典同google translate 下，見家長時好似有得講明用廣東話，老師會搵翻譯

想請教一下大家, 如果學校通知去interview(assessment), 係唔係有位先會通知, 如果interview OK就會出offer?? 定還是其實一申請, 有冇位都會通知去interview左先??

Depends on 你幫小朋友apply中途插班定係新學年先開始讀：

中途插班的話，就會有位就call你interview

新學年開始讀的話（八月尾開學），就會在六月份左右call你interview，佢地會group埋一班小朋友interview，一個星期左右就有result。

謝回覆, 約了下星期Iinterview, 不知是算插班還是算新學年讀, 因小朋友英語能力是ok的, 只是担心在陌生環境下未能發揮應有的水準....

Chinese Language class
Dear Parents,
From the beginning of the academic year 2017-2018, we will be using both Traditional Chinese Characters (TCC) and Simplified Chinese Characters (SCC) as our text for reading. Group 1 and 2 (First language) students will start using TCC, and Group 3 and 4 (Foreign language) students will continue using SCC.

We believe this will benefit our students because we are experiencing an increasing number of students joining us from the local school sector. As these students have been learning Chinese with TCC, it will be easier for them to adopt.

對於本地家長來說，用繁體中文是個好消息！事實上，用繁體中文的國際學校唔多，尤其是港島區。

忽然加插繁體中文,說實就係要迎合市場需要。亦即說明咗此校收本地學生既趨勢。照學校既分析,亦睇得出越來越多慣用繁體字既本地學生插班此校。
所以我會有此憂慮。。。當一般既本土學生(即家庭無任何外國背境,學生無出國留學打算既普通香港人家庭)慢慢成為學校既大眾的話,"國際學校"既特質就有機會被淡化。個人愚見,如果趨勢確實如此的話,心儀此校既家長可能真係要再重新考慮此校是否仍然係大家心目中想要既"國際學校"。

PS. 另外,以我所知,韓國人"羸在起跑線"既理念其實比香港人有過之而無不及,一邊讀國際國校,一邊出去補習,喺韓國人群體中一啲都唔希奇。
