It is difficult for international applicants (not US or green card holders) to be admitted by Ivies, Stanford, MIT, Duke or the likes. Usually, those schools admits 6 to 10% of international students. In other words, each school admits 120 to 160 foreign students each year. Bearing in mind the number of countries, on average, only one or two students from one country is admitted by a Ivy college or its equivalent.
The college placement result of a school does not give a complete picture if it does not let us know how many successful applicants to Ivy are US or Green Card holders. |
