The courses are ok, and my daughter has attended the class since K1 - 3 yrs old. She enjoyed to learn English there. She finished three terms in B.C., but she just went to other english center this March.

The class is too big (sometimes 15-16), and there is a Chinese assistant. That means your kid can remain silent for the whole lesson , or voice out their needs in Cantonese to the assistant.

compare to other lanuage center, there is not much progress for child, as m1m1sam said the class is too crowded, there is no chance for the child to speak in english. my son studied there for 3 courses since he was in k1 and now change to another language center, their classes are normally 1 to 4 up to 1 to 6, i can tell that he improves a lot very obviously.in british council, usually they just ask the kids to do some colouring, drawing , singing and story listening,the teacher will not ask them to talk with her,besides they also let them to speak cantonese in class.

Agreed with m1m1sam and pwsmay.

My son is now attending BC K1 course and it seems that he is not really enjoy it.

The Chinese assistant talk to the children in Cantonese and there's not much chance for the children to speak English insided the group besides singing songs and answer few questions raised by the tutor.

Within the 90 minutes leson, I found they will let the children to play toys (by themselves alone) for almost 45 minutes.

I'm also looking for other English course for my son.

I think I will not join similar course next time.

For K1 to K3 English class, they will only admit students at K1 to K3 level (cos you have to show your children's kindergarten handbook for proof during application).

For "Bright start to English", they will admit students from 2.5 to 4 years old

My daughter is studying in Berlitz - Pacific Place I
Group session - 3 kids (1 and 1/2 hours)

They are quite professional in language.

My son studied at British Council since K1 for 1 year but I think it is not so good. So, I shifted him to study at the Tusen Wan English Funland. I think it is quite good & better than British Council.
