Received Nursery PM offer from Whampoa campus yesterday. Submitted application in early Sep. Not existing playgroup student but applied playgroup for upcoming term which starts in Jan 2013. Deadline for paying deposit is 20 Dec.

May I clarify :
1) there is no interview for pre-k application for KLT campus?
2) there is chance that non-existing PG student can get a seat in pre-k?

I applied Nursery in early Sep. I learnt that playgroup students have priority entry to Nursery class, so I applied playgroup at the end of Oct. Anyway the playgroup I applied is for 18 months old and above and will only start in January. My boy will only turn 18 months old in January, so I cannot apply playgroup earlier. Hence applications to Nursery and playgroups are actually separate issues. You can apply for both, or just either one. Ironically I don't think my new application for playgroup helps in my application to Nursery. My Nursery offer was still based on first come first serve basis.

Both are correct.

Oh I see. Seems like the N class is whampoa is on first come first serve basis, then is it the same in KLT campuse for the pre-k?

Actually I'm really not sure as my boy is existing playgroup student, so he did get priority in the first place.

Apparently both campus clearly state "first come first serve" on applications. However we reckon the actual shortlisting process is more than just the application dates, but also other considerations like priority entry for existing playgroup students. We called the school and they indeed confirmed that existing playgroup students do have priorities (for both campus).

Are you planning to apply for Anfield too?

I called almost every week and they simply said will send out offer letter in dec.

TT deposit is $15,800 and pay by 7 jan
Nursery monthly fee is $7900
