My 5 years old son is very active and very good in English. He is now studying "happy" kindergarten, not much homework.

Do you think he is suitable for this school? How's the workload (homework, dictation)?

小一至小三不太谷,小四開始便谷.聽聞英文只是一般.不過小4有資優班,程度應該深D.學校提供多元發展,這點我覺得很重要.
唔知有冇現讀緊馬小的家長可以比D意見.

My son only works for 2-3 simple homework less than 1 hour a day in his kindergarten.

My son is lucky to get an offer of MTC 福馬, but we are struggling if we should choose Lam Man Chan instead.

U can hardly compare the workload for a kindergarten and a primary student. LMC certainly better in English and less workload. For MTC, it is a traditional school and offer balanced education with Chinese as main teaching media. MTC has a quite good academic performance with long tracking record. For workload, most of the days we can complete the homework with less than 1.5 hours. I think it is quite ok for a junior primary school student.

2 exam. 2 test a year. Chi & Eng dictation bi- weekly. Not tough until P4.

the teacher told me today is not so tough from p.1 to p.3 and some of the parents said to her that why their children are not so much homework...... and they just finish their open day last week.
