Regarding the issue of 無良學校, 約一萬元多一點......, is it some kind of misunderstanding? There is a post called teaching assistant marked at this range$8,000-$12,000/mth by EDB, especially tailored for new graduates. As all the CM/GM teaching posts are filled, some principals may still be glad to offer these posts to fresh grads in order to let them experience the teaching field.

Moreover, the pay is governed by EDB with rigid ladder, I find THE saying is completely hard to believe.

The leaving of teachers are common nowadays.
My son is in 1E last year, both his Eng & Math teachers have left the school.
The former one cannot control the class discipline, the teacher himself always yell and scream in class when challenge by students....poor pronunciation....did not mark their mock papers...and many other things, yet the school did not fire him in the middle of the year, there is why I do not think the school is 無良. Teachers left is simply because of their performance. And the Math teacher is a very good one, he is now teaching in another famous band one school. For he is very young and there is no chance to promote in WFN only.

路過發表吓意見真的沒有問題，憑一些那麼遙遠的事情便得到這樣的推斷。真的不可思意。何况是來自一位中學中文教師。

我年代的中文教師很好，很有內涵，徐了教曉了書本的知識，還有做人的道理。

我想現在的老師的質素真的下跌很多，不教壞小朋友便算了。

Please dont say there is no hw la, every time if some parents say this during parents day, our children will suffer for at least a month with abundant hw.  Because the teachers are pushed by the school authority to give students many many hw and then die down.... this stories repeat themselves every year.

In fact, you can give yr child other more useful supplementary wk to do and they are more suitable as parents should know what their own children are weak at,  Moreoever, children these days seldom do not attend tutorial class outside school.  Just dont ask for more.

There are many other things to do like leisure reading, going outdoor.  Let our children enjoy both school days & holidays.
