my little girl also speaks little & hence, i also stick with Cantonese.... same same situation!

I did not apply SC and KM ar.
SC is too far away and I prefer York's curriculum and aggressiveness comparing to KM.

Both my husband and I are working full time, I really appreciate York having the option for full day class for K2 & K3. It saves us lots of hassles in organising the extra-circular activities for our boy.

My boss did not approve my leave application and thus I cannot attend the Welcome Party at 3:30 next week. Friends please share what happens at the Party then.

Sure, will share what's in the Party afterwards.
But I guess York chose this date just because the students are on holiday and the Chinese decorations are still up. Most important, they want to secure confirmations from parents. I believe there's nothing new in the Party~

but, as per their letter, we need to pay some sort of fee by that day if we want to secure the seat.... if any of your relatives can handle that for you on that day?

Dear leungsiupig,
Thanks for your concern. I called the school and the staff who handled my call confirmed that I may settle the fees by sending them a cheque instead of submitting it in person. I had sent the cheque already. Really hope to meet the fellow parents and classmates-to-be :(

Same here ! I love aggressive curriculum so my kid can be more competitive and well-prepared when going to primary school ! Moreover I dun need to be headache in searching for any courses for external exams like Cambridge one etc!

PN must be happily ga, if students cannot even enjoy the PN class, there's really something wrong with the school! For PN and K1, if my boy can love the school and love learning and reading, that's really sufficient to me.

I think York aggressiveness starts from K2 when students start preparing for various external exams. Not only students, parents have to put in lots of efforts too. I hope my husband and I can cope with this....

有家長留言明天交的費用可以refund(如果明年九月唔讀),明天再當面同老師confirm一下先~

我報左KM,SC,SJC,victoria,全部都未interview。雖然我仔仔讀緊YORK PG+收到PN OFFER,而我同老公都好中意YORK(因之前另有3個offers都放棄了而揀YORK)。但公平起見，我都想in晒其餘4間,再攞多D info先決定。(大前提當然係再有offers啦)

所以我估仲有好多家長同我一樣,會照去party照交錢,仲會照去其他學校interview...

大家努力啦!!!
