知道3 間小學都以英語為主, 要額外學一科外語, 亦知 TSL 無一條龍, 不過仲有D 問題想問清楚:

1. 三間都係活動教學嗎?
2. 返學時間必修一種樂器?
3. 係咪都係唔洗考試排名次?
4. 三間學習氣氛會無咁大壓力?

最唔同之處,應該係CKY是行IB的,亦是IBO認可學校.

CKY & TSL

TSL only Primary stage and need to search Secondary school for your kid. However, their student English presentation skill is very impress and most of them are very confidence. That what I observe from their Open day. Before you apply u hv to choose your child language stream either English + Chinese (additional with basic Japanese/French learning) or English + French (baisc Chinese/Japanese).
They use project base learning, teaching are goods as told by my neighbour.

TSL traditional curriculum teaching, following edb curriculum, not IB type of teaching. Secondary school allocation by the government..no it's own secondary schools. School fee very reasonable.

Though project based learning in some subjects, mostly follow local EDB curriculum, except English using their own worksheets. Students are trained to be independent and has a third language, French or Japanese, though very elementary level.

CKY - more IB type of teaching....language enviornment better than TSL, of course $$$$ is more expensive..No secondary school allocation, but with their own secondary school, with supposingly IB curriculum or IB type of teaching..

我覺得cky 同 tsl 係同一種類型, cky advance D (包括硬軟件), 學生真愛閱讀, 我日日見樓下十幾個學生返學等校車都是拿住書看多. 但學費貴好多, 不過行ib 就真係預左貴. 可能貴得有道理.

tsl 就平民d同多南亞同學, 語言多元化. 課外活動又好多包括 golf, 係好物超所值的學校, 只是考中學的成績我又唔覺特別吸引, 好似好大比例入顏寶玲, 我想npl 好多家長未必會作首選 (有人說 npl 有提供 french, 但我想此都不算是 band1 中 ? ) 唔知 tsl 有冇機開中學.. 如果npl 真的結龍, 對我來說都冇咩意義... 所以我不禁對 tsl 作為一間冇back up 的小學, 學術level 如何可以配合香港選band1中學的方面有d保留.

反而smc 俾我感覺是傳統英文學校, 同 tsl, cky 都唔同類, 教學方面唔知有咩特點.

SMC:
If your kid learn an instrument outside school, he/she needn't learn instruments at school.
Students don't have exam in P1 but they will have them afterward. Honestly, I guess students would still have pressure because better students would be assigned to the same group.
Till now, I love SMC curriculum.

I feel CKY would exert less pressure to children in my opinion. But you need to consider that you might send your kid to study aboard in the future.

From U-beat issue 94, more than 25% enrolled were non-jupas (2008-09), about 4 thousand something, while jupas students were about 11 thousand.
I think non-jupas applicants should be must less than 25%!

There are around 4000 year 1 students '包括英國高考、國際文憑課程(IB)、本港以外學制的學歷(e.g. mainland)、拔尖(~400)、校長推薦等方法申請入學'
So far as i know and to my experience, what universities love most are the mainland students as they got to pay much higher tuition fee (around doubled, pls correct if it is wrong). Besides, there is a large number of places reserved for AD graduates. Thus, GCE, IB.... constitute only a bit and hence do not have too much expectations.

Besides, there is a large number of places reserved for AD graduates. [I doubt it, AD students even less favourable than HD students. Most of them got in not so popular programs like engineering......]

Most local university favour IB > GCE AL > HD > AD.... What I mean is good IB score..... 30+
