What form is your daughter in?
I found that my child has less time for reading
after promoted to p2.

Yes, the school inspired my elder girl who now loves to read. She has completed 2xx Chinese books uptill now. Reading helps composition a lot !!

P.3. Yes, when she was promoted to P.2, she had less time for reading. However, it seems that the situation improved later - maybe because her speed in reading increased a lot.

Second interview attended! Though still not sure whether our kid is lucky enough, I did respect this school very much. I feel at least the sense of respect for the whole time.
Let's do our best and God do the rest!

Why are you saying that? There is a chance as you get into 2nd interview. Did the principal say anything making you think that way?

Having 2nd in- is a credit!

Why? what happened? No need to be so sad...still have chance.

We should proud of our kids for being the 200 selected!

Why you have such an idea ?

150 out of 200... should be great chance.

Some old parents in the school told me that if you are not related but got the chance of 2nd interview, the chance of getting in is better than those with 'relation'...So, don't cry so early. Even though, there isn't one and only one school that may suit your kid ma...

we are the same. The principal was kind enough to let us get the feel that we are not shortlisted at the very beginning.

Don't cry, our kids are in the 200 and we should be proud of them.

Thanks for all your kind support! The principle already told us, we should take other offers if there are any at the very begining...... For sure, my boy will be the 1 out of 50 that not get the offer.

I am very pround of my boy, he was doing very good at the interview. I told my boy if this school not select you, that is not your problem. It just we (parents) are not meeting there basic requirement.

The principal is this honest ?

But still, don't give up now, there could be people withdrawing from the 150, and that's the purpose of having 50 on the waiting list.

yes, we are similar too.  Although it didn't feel good, it's not bad actually.  She did let us know in advance so that we will not have false hope.

Everyone says 150/200 is a good chance but the 50 must be there.  That's also what the pricipal said.

Don't blame youself.  I think the list was already there.  They just want to make sure no 'odd parents' are in the list.

I would not have any fasle hope. I just got the feeling that our family background are not good enough for this school. We just an ordinary family, anyway file closed!
