This year the application date is 30/10 for k1. will they notify the interview date and time on 30/10?

Is the interview time early if you line up early on the application date?

What was the interview date last year.

I called the school today and the teacher said that after receiving the form on Oct 30, they will mail us the form in early Nov. Depending on no of application forms received, they will likely conduct interviews over more than one day (on Sat) starting from Nov 6.  I didn't ask whether lining up early would mean early interview..

They informed me the interview date but not time on application date.

Yes.  Interview time will be early if you line up early.

Interview was simple.  My husband and I went in a room with lot of interview tables.  Teacher asked my son his name and age.  Then, she gave a book to my son and asked him to read with daddy.  While she was watching them, she asked me some standard questions such as usually who take care of your son? How much time you spend with your son everyday and how to spend the time?  Why you choose this school? etc.  

I have the feeling that they don't need your child to know lot of things.  They want to choose some children that are polite, focus and discipline.  They also want parents have the same philosophy with them.  They will choose the parents that they agree with their way they educate their children at home.

For interview time, this year may not be the same,  
the school use random method. (ie. line up early may not equal to interview time schedule early) when my friend chated with one of their teacher on the open day.
