Me too. Have you done any research on the school? Is it good as compared to other ESF schools and other international schools? Is it easy to get in? Seems everyone has got accepted. Do you know anyone not accepted by the school?

According to my personal research, Quarry Bay School has been selected to have five days Mandarin lessons but the others ESF Primary Schools have less than two days. That's the main reason I chose this school for my daughter. Moreover, the school fee is cheapest than the others International School .

I knew someone has failed the interview, so I'm not sure it is easy to get in or not.

How is the class composition in QBS? Are they mainly Chinese and Japanese? Pls share.

Thanks, it's a very useful piece of info. 5-day Mandarin is good. I am actually a late application submitted after deadline. My son had interview only last week but have to make up my mind whether to accept the offer very soon. If you can share other info about the school, that would be great. The class size is 30. Based on what I saw during interview (in reccess time), about 7 out of 10 are yellow skin (but could be Japanese). Others are white skin and India-look kids. But this is only a general feel of all the kids on the playground and not specific to any class.

BHS, KJS and SJS all have 5 days mandarin classes per week.

May I ask which grade did you child apply for Quarry
Bay?
My son is applying grade 1 of Quarry bay and waiting for second round interview. But up to now, we haven't
recieved any news.

Yes, there are so many Asian in Quarry Bay School. I think a lot of Europeans, American, etc. they will choose the others IS instead of ESF, such as FIS and CIS.
