My son is P5 now.
P1 and P2 still OK, very easy to handle. both Homework and Dictation. But reading more books will really help.
You better do more reading with your son before Sept next year. This will help. I'm also a working mama, but I got someone help my son on the English. My hunsband and I always not in HK, until weekend, but we still insist to come back during weekend and spend all the time with my childs.
For the son got it on the first round, it is already very lucky than those from "Big lucky draw" You all have 9 monthes to prepare for your son. So don't give up. The teachers are very nice. The principle is also very nice. When my son was P1, the teachers are very helpful. And 1 more things is they will put the daily homework on the Intranet for parent to check to ensure your son do all homework. so don't too worry, they will make the adjustment.
For PTA, if you are working mama like me, you can join some special events helper. To know more about the school and other parent. This will help you and your son.
"La Salle is something more" - it also support by all our parents. The road is not easy to walk, but don't give up, you will enjoy and proud of it.
