Any BK mummy has child going to study at CCKG lower love class in 07-08. Would you like to exchange each other information for connection later on?
My son is Kinsey Yuen, studied at Kentville when in K1.

My boy Alvin will also study in the lower love class (07-08). He is from SC. Nice to meet you two.
Do you arrange school bus for your boys yet? It has been bother me for more than months, as the pick up time is 7:20am of (so called) school bus (though we are staying at Tai Kowk Tsui. Hope you two don't have the same problem.

Hi achau,

Nice to meet you and Alvin.

I have also arranged my son Justin to have schoolbus service for the first month.  I am informed that I have to wait for the schoolbus at 7:30 am! I live in Hung Hom and the actural travelling time estimated should only be 20-30 mins.  Last yr his schoolbus served at 8:20 am!

Since CCKG schoolbus also serves DPS/DPSPS which seems to be more significant to them, thus the departure time has to be set as early as possible.  I am also quite worried as a 45-mins discrepancy is a "big" burden to me and my son.  It was often a "battle" to wake him up last yr for school.  The battle will be much bigger as I have to wake him up much earlier next wk!  Thus I decide to bring him to school by myself in October after being more skillful in driving.

Lucky Justin can have you to send him to school ne, he must enjoy it very much. So I have decided to give up the school bus and will take other coach. Though it's much mmore expensive, but it save about 30min in the morning, I rather Alvin to use the 30min to finish his breakfast!

Yes, see you in the coming session. Please also keep in touch as after the school start, I think we must have more info to be shared!

Hi Yankee & achau,
The school bus you said is run by CCKG or by private caretaker/ driver? My husband can only find one private coach operate by a clumsy old woman. I lived in Kowloon Tong and she pick up Kinsey at 7:50 a.m.. I don't know whether it is too early or not. Anyway, my husband said we have no other choice. My concern is not the pick up time. I just worry that the old woman is not competent to take care of the kids on the coach during the journey.

Hi, YLK,
According to my understanding, there is no CCKG school bus.  The one we get information on the registration date is belongs to DBS (not sure if it has connection with CCKG or not).  Pickup time of this one is 7:25am, I think it's not really reasonable and also two difference coaches for morning to school and back to home (quite confusing!).  So we probably won't let Alvin to take this one.

I have contacted two other coach companies:
- Dailyride: no service.
- Concord: expensive but can pickup at 7:55pm.  We will try this one and will see how they operate.

As also heard that some coaches will stop at Waterloo Road instead of in front of the CCKG.  So we will keep checking and see how Concord operates.

Hi Alice,
I haven't gone to CCKG even once before. All the application, interview and registration were done by my husband as I delivered my second son in Oct. 06. My husband deal with the coach company and I only know that the woman in charge is not smart and inefficient. I just worry she will make mistake and cause trouble. I don't know whether the fee is expensive or not. Non do I know whether the pick up time is too early. I will try to sort it out and see whether we need to make any changes. Thank you!! Shall we meet each other in the evening? See you!!

Hi Wendy and Alice,

It was a pity that we could not say hi yesterday afternoon in the briefing session due to too many parents of classes from Faith, Love and Hope mixed together.  How do you feel about the briefing and information from Ms Fieldings?

Concerning the school bus company, the one that my son will take is called Poon's.  As I have said before, it will also bring students of DPS and DBSPS, whom the company will regard to be more significant.  In order to prevent being late for those primary school students, they have to set the departure time much earlier.

See your sons (and ? you) on Monday.
