Do you know what Carl Orff music teaching is?

Hi Everyone,

Do you know what Carl Orff is?  I found it's amazing.  Kids learn music with lots of fun.  They sing, dance, rhyme, playing instrument, listen to the story and even play instrument with improvisation.

My kid has attended to this course and it's amazing that he can recognized the note and different music knowledge very much.  I found this course quite different from others that it's not pushy.  It's progressive learning.  So natural.  Kids can make use of the knowledge in the daily life.  One example is he asked me to please speak "piano" .  It's too loud, Mum.  Ha Ha.  " piano" is the Italian term of soft.  Therefore, he is asking me to speak softly. HaHaHa.
There will have a new course soon.  Please catch this class.
I don't mind to PM the details to you if you are interested in it.

Your kid is suitable for the coming class in April. Please go and join them. You know. Teacher Maggie explained to me that she will introduce different kinds of song and music elements for kids by using different kinds of activities i.e. rhyming, singing, movement. They will learn some specific musical terms and music knowledge even at this young age. Also, the course for toddler is fun too. She requested parents to buy a set of percussion and a whistle because she understands the development of kids so much that she would like to stimulate yound kids oral muscle and the blowing ability. It's cool!. It seems not so commom to has this kind of tailor-made programme in HK. Most of them are too commercial. I hope more kids can learn under this passionate teacher. : )

I have checked at different web-site. It shows Teacher Maggie is really experienced and highly qualified. She is teaching at APA and adopts Carl Orff methodology by taking thouse training at UBC. Cool!
Is there any one has joined her class. Please share your feeling.

I called teacher Maggie. They have a class for 2.5 to 3.5 yrs old at Wanchai which is too far for me. Would any Shatin or Ma On Shan mama want to form a class of this age in weekday? Pls state your prefer location and time.

How long does it takes of each lesson ? How long of this course ? How much is the tution fee ? I'm living in Kwai Chung and I only can go to Shatin on Sunday. Do you mind to give me more information ?
