請問銅鑼灣聖保祿學校的學費幾錢一個月? 昨日跟朋友傾, 佢話more than hk$10000/mth.  想知道係唔係真係咁貴?

有女入讀名直資，適逢其會遇上一年一度吹水大會(拜年...)，各人當然要吹噓一番(我都話自己“準備”跑渣打馬拉松，問佢地有冇興趣參加？班吹水友即刻鳥散魚潰...)...所以唔好拆穿人啦！

其實係我想比我囡囡入st pauls (佢而家仲係2歲幾), 我個friend話佢朋友個囡係st pauls讀緊中一, 同佢講話學費over $10000一個月, 所以我問定先.....不過話時話, 我個friend不嬲都鍾意吹水, 所以唔出奇!

我女今年係spc既小學讀緊p.6, 佢地中學既學費係$2500/month。

This school did not keep their promise in announcing secondary interview results in January as they stated originally.  They only added the second interview further in mid-March after they finished the first interview in December 06, and they even require parents to check the shortlist on the door of their school on a particular day in March at certain time rather than posting it on website!  They have asked applicants to do 4 book reports, self-introduction in writing, interview in English and Chinese already, really don't understand why they changed their promise suddenly and is so unconsiderate.  Seems not a creditable school!

同感! :cry: 早d講清楚,可能好多人未必去interview(包括我都會再三考慮),因為都幾辛苦,樣樣都好緊迫,因為一考完學校試就收到佢地通知要面試. 呀女d同學都係同我地一樣諗住1月知道收唔收,約果ok就唔駛參加自行面試咁煩,即頭註冊吧. 點知一考完出嚟就話要second in,唉 晴天霹靂呀~~~仲要等到3月15號,有得in 就即刻17號去in,冇得比你準備,仲迫埋自行d學校一齊係3月面試,C未!都唔知搞咩嘢,反口又玩嘢!    果日都玩咗成朝,好累

Yes, we all felt very tired that morning as well, it took everyone (students and parents) to wait for 4 hours for an interview of just 10 mins.!  And then they told us that we have to wait for second interview in March!!  If we knew it before we applied, we also would not do so much work to apply.

Now we likely won't consider this school even we can get second interview.

It seems that everyone is so frustrated with their arrangement. Do you have any idea how many applicants are there this year? Do they have very strict requirement ? I heard  some moms saying that the kids need to write up english and chinese book reports as well as preparing powerpoint for presentation,is that true?

Yes, each kid has to write 2 English and 2 Chinese book reports (each book consist of a few hundred pages) in powerpoint for presentation in first interview.  We counted the no. of applicants and estimated that there are about 400+ girls applying only, which is far far behind the nos. of applicants to DGS and SPCC (1200-1300+).

That's why I don't understand why it is so difficult for the school to choose the successful applicants through the written work and the individual interviews in English and Chinese.
