If this is what your worry, then, don't be.  The nurse/dentists there are very nice.  Moreover, since the patients there are all kids, the kids will feel more at ease.  (Still, you may hear some girls cry when you are at the waiting room. But you can assure your girl to take it easy.)  Actually, they may already filled 1 or 2 tooth for your girl, you can check the page 12 to see what had been done for your girl during last visit.  She got the experience in the clinic, it will be better for you to check with her instead.

My girl need to remove one teeth as she got one more.  She didn't even cry during the procedures as the nurse keep encourage her and holding her hand.  The dentists also praised her being brave for the procedure.  She will tell you that remove a teeth is not very painful.  I think the service there is very good.

My girl is sick hence can't join the picnic today.  She is so disappointed.  I need to make up for her on this Thursday when she has a day off.

Thank you.  Actually, she goes back to school today.  She is really upset that she can't go for the picnic, she cried in the clinic.  It is lucky that tomorrow is a holiday, so I can make up for her quickly for the missing picnic.

what do you think about the test?  I am thinking to let her enroll the test later this year.  She is now taking a Starter course and should end in June.  So it means if she seats in the test in April, she may not score 15 by then. In the center she is going, 5 to 6 students out of 50 scored 15  and many got 14.  So I am hoping she shall do better after she completes the course.

The center my girl goes told me that since she already study in a good English school, the cert from this test is not useful for her, hence, it is not necessary for her to join the test for Starters.  They suggested me to consider the movers stage instead when she is ready.  And per the one in charge, that will be around P.4. So, I don't let my girl join the coming test in school.

Thanks for your sharing.

The test is commonly used as an evidence to demonstrate the students' English competence, especially in applying school.  We are lucky that our kids are already studying in one of such good schools.

Therefore, I'm considering whether it is worthwhile to spent effort (especially time) to take it as some sort of "experience" for her.   In particular, I've some concern on the timing.  The good thing is the test will be held in school, a familiar and convenience place to the kid.  But it does somehow add some pressue during term time.

Any parents enrolled already?

Dear Jamie'Ma,

As far as I understood, I think they will wear the school uniform to school and change before the show and tell.  And the girls should dress according to the character that they chosed.

No school bus for ECA except those held on Friday and ended before 2:50 p.m..  You will need to arrange pick up if you join the ECA.

According to my past experience, only the flute & 單簧管 will have criteria, as they need to check the growth of the front teeth of the girls.  They suggested that these 2 instruments are more suitable for elder girls.  So, they will suggest you to take the violin or 非洲鼓 instead.  

I don't let me girl take the class as the fee is not that cheap because they are teach in group.  You can compare the charge with any of the center near your home before you make the decision.

Thank you for your information.....

My friends told me the same thing........my girl may be 唔適合 flute or 單簧管, 因為換牙 + 唔夠氣吹......

Any idea about violin 係唔係較 piano 難學 (because piano with keyboard, more easy to pick up) ????

我不知道小提琴是否難學, 但彈鋼琴要左右手同時彈不同的音鍵及音程, 所以協調方面比較彈小提琴困難. 因此, 人們認為學習彈鋼琴可以訓練左右腦的協調發展.

去年是$100 一堂, 6-8 人小組, 今年是一樣嗎?  老實說, 這個價錢, 我會比多少少在家附近的琴行學, 第一是單對單教授, 第二是不用自己去學校接放學, 第三是可以安排自己合適的時間上堂, 第四是不用一次過比十堂學費, 唔想學時, 退學都容易些.  

如果想試學短期課程, 再決定是否有興趣, 不如考慮報音樂事務處的外展音樂短期課程.  (按此有相關資料, $800 有20 堂. =>外展音樂短期課程招生<=
但新一期要等2/15的餘額結果才可報名了.)  工聯會都有兒童小提琴初班, $660/12堂, 每堂1.5小時. 不過只有星期六下午3:30 - 5:00 或 星期日上午10:15-11:45在旺角的中心上. (www.hkftustsc.org, course # KO39146)
