Hi all,
My daughter had been accepted by EC in the first round. I would like to share my experience and to give some tips to those who are waiting for the 2nd interview.
1. Ask your kid to speak up during interview.
2. Be brave and pleasant to answer the questions.
3. During group interview of 3 by 3, make sure your kid is the one with the fastest responce. (eg, when the interviewer asks if anyone knows how to play a game, make sure your kid is the fastest one to raise the hand and answer the question.)
One of the teachers told me in the parent's interview section that the kid's interview was the only one counted. That's why they didn't ask me anything about my daughter but just asked if there was anything I wanted to ask the school.
During the kid's interview, the questions asked were:
English: 1. What's your name?
2. How old are you?
3. Where do you live?
4. What colour do you like?
5. What's the name of the fruit?
Mandarin: 1. What's your name?
2. How old are you?
Game played: wood stacking
Question asked in Cantonese: Does anyone know how to play this game?
