NJXC is the advance course of JMC. They can learn more about music & more creative.

This is 2 different kind of music course..NJXC can let your kid to have full development of musuc but piano is only playing one intrument.
Continue or not hv to concern the time.

JMC is a 2-yrs music course for children of age 4 - 6. Contents include singing, hearing and keyboard playing. There are usually 12 children with their parent in a class. My son and I took the course at Wanchai centre.

好少見 6歲咁"大"

: 學,
其實 JMC 呢個 course 唔係純粹彈琴,
嚴格講係彈 keyboard.
course 主要係親子 + singing + hearing + music notes... 好 depends Miss 教法,
如果家長識彈琴會好的, 我地兩個都唔識,
變左囡囡開始跟唔到, 成日堂上問 Miss 好似拖慢個進度,
的同學仔的家長好多都識 / 或同時有出面搵人教...就跟到,
應該讀埋呢幾堂 Book 3 就唔讀.
搵私人教.

我小朋友都讀緊book3.
我兩公婆都唔識彈琴. 現在都係由我老公帶我個仔上堂. 老公堂堂自己要做筆記. 到現在都跟到堂上教d野.
父母唔識唔緊要, 最緊要唔明要立即問老師和寫筆記.

I think JMC is more suitable for young kids who are not yet ready to take individual lesson. If you expect your kid to learn more in depth, in terms of technique and skills, individual lesson is the way to go. After all detail coaching is very important in helping beginners to have a firm foundation of skills.

p/s: I am recommend from a pianist and teacher point of view. I have played piano for more than 30 years, has degree a in piano performance. :wink:

9月份jmc又加價, 原本640元/sun, 之後要700元/sun, 都幾貴吓.

well, I think the price raise is quite reasonable. They have not raised their price for at least 2 years.

我個囡都係啱啱完成book 2，唔會再學了，因為book 1還可以，只是唱下歌彈D簡單既音，book 2後期已經要彈D複雜D既音，又要雙手彈，我個囡開始無耐性，又唔專心，其他同班的同學仔有D真係好叻，我懷疑佢地本身都學緊琴。我就諗住算了，反正都係試下個囡有無興趣學琴，依家慳番添。

請問如果想搵私人上門教琴, 依家一般市價係幾多$? 例如, 每45分鐘付$150合理嗎?

我仔仔已完成JMC一年課程, 但因要搬家將不會再繼續讀Book3, 並打算搵私人上門教!

我覺得, 都好睇你小朋友喜唔喜歡.

我仔7月都會完成晒 JMC, 但佢而家已經開始自己作曲, 有時聽到d佢喜歡既歌(學校既 or 電視播既小時候), 佢都會自己去摸下, 然後雙手彈番出黎. 佢可以咁...都係因為佢好喜歡學音樂, 會自動去學習. 如果時間許可既我會比佢繼續上

I am very agree what you said... what my son got the same experiences with you son too... even he is learning private piano tutor, something he will still like to play his own creative song when the time he don't have to practise his song from piano lesson...so, what I think it's really depends on how much the child interesting on music (which not only on piano...) By the way, my son will going to attend the JXC in coming of August in Wanchai, hope to share any experiences with you all after the course...
